Caitlin Moran Offensive Comment?

As I highlighted in an earlier post, I am glad to see the RLPA call out the inconsistencies and lack of transparency in the NRL's decision making around player sanctions and the issuing of breach notices.

At the moment it is all knee jerk reactions for the public optics rather than a structured review to identify the level of breach that has occurred and determine a consistent and transparent process for applying appropriate sanctions.

Clint Newton is obviously doing his job in making sure players are well represented and calling out the NRL when it needs to be called out, particularly on matters like this

All seems a common denominator in all this. THE MEDIA...... They pick and choose what stories get highlighted. Media a such an important part of society but bending the rules for their own beliefs is laughable. It's a shame nobody is rich enough to take them on.

4.1 billion people who could have been watching a good movie or something instead. They’ll never get that time back. Morons.

I didn't watch it as I cbf with that stuff, I'm not 65, gay or Brittish. Id prefer to be asleep. But as far as ritualistic ceremonies go, there's none more grandiose, well coordinated, funded and jammed packed with unique detail.

When I heard that 4 billion people watched it I was surprised. But my first thought wasn't that they watched it because they were all morons lmao. Sound theory, that one.

What has being gay got to do with watching the Queen's funeral?!

I doubt that figure is accurate, it's probably talking about potential audience like the rugby union world cup likes to do when it talks about its audience. You really reckon anyone was tuning in in India, China, Russia? Coz that means about every single other person on the planet would have to be watching it, once you take out people who are too young or unable to watch for other reasons.

Well people I know in India didn't know it was on and are not a fan of the Royal family after all that went on there during the years, so I'm not sure that's true. I told one friend who lives there it reminded me of watching Diana's funeral as a kid with my parents and they didn't even know who Diana was.

They're not quite as important as people think to other cultures. In fact they're often very disliked.

Yeah, 4.1 billion is an obvious fudge.
