Me too. And cry everytime I see him in another jersey!!!! :cry::cry::cry:

He is a champion, a legend not only for us but for NSW and Australia. I would welcome him back with open arms. My favourite Knight of all time! Love ya Beds!
 
Gross, Buderus in a green jumper. It said he was thought to be coming back here, did we reject him or something?
 
Tbh I don't think we should sign him, but if it means that he doesn't go to any other NRL club then yes, put pen to paper straight away!!! Gah I guess I'm just like you guys in tha I can't stand the thought of him in another NRL jersey.
 
it's always terrible seeing our best coming back but playing for someone else...Matty & Flash down at cronulla and T to the eels!...Bedsy is Newcastle through and through...
 
Its a hard one.

I wouldnt want to see him in another jersey.

However, I just cant find a place for him in the side. Its wrong to just drop De Gois like that...to make way for Bedsy.
 
De Gois needs to pull his finger out, we should scare him with some talk of buderus returning. because that is all it will ever be, bud is to old and it just isnt a good idea with de gois and nadaira not even playing 80 mins

I dont know if im watching the same games as you, but De Gois was returning to top form before he injured his ribs....and he was coming back from a knee reconstruction. He'll be back to his best in no time.
 
I think people forget how long it takes to come back from such a major injury.

Like Mason at the Roosters... took him a year to be back to 100%

It doesn't happen overnight.
 
Yeah I always thought of DeGois as the perfect replacement for Bedsy and as of late he keeps getting better. If he can play a few more games consitently he'll be back to his best. I'd still like to have Bedsy back though, him and Degois can play simultaneously like NSW used to do with Craig Wing. Have Bedsy off the bench and DeGois starting. I'm sure Bedsy would just be happy to be back in the Blue and Red

I'm pretty sure Bedsy wouldnt want to be playing off the bench...he'd have to be in the starting side somewhere.

If im not wrong, he wants to come back because he gets limited time off the bench at Leeds.
 
If that's the case then sadly there's no way of him taking DeGois' spot. Still, if there's a chance of him coming back to play a bench position or even if DeGois thinks he can learn something from Bedsy for a season then I'm all for it.
 
My heart says take Bedsy back but my head is saying we can't fit him in. You're right though, any other team and it'd be weird.
 
I would love to have Bedsy back! Its just where are we gonna fit him? Do we really get rid of DeGois who has played really well since he came here, and Degois is not a bench player so getting rid of Hilder is just as bad....Bedsy just shouldn't have left tbh...
 
Fight on to sign Danny Buderus
CANBERRA have emerged as a shock contender to snare Danny Buderus, who was widely believed to be headed back to Newcastle.

The homesick Leeds star was shopped to the Raiders six weeks ago and coach David Furner last night refused to rule out signing him.

"We have a few young good hookers we are really happy with," he said.

"There would be a lot of advantages with Danny and he would no doubt help them with his experience."

Buderus' agent George Mimis arrived in the north of England last weekend and will soon speak to the NSW Origin great about his future.

"I will meet him soon and see what he wants to do," Mimis said.

"He has an offer from Leeds so we will weigh things up."

We've got a feeling Bedsy might be back in the NRL before the June 30 cut-off

I'd love to get him back now. I think it'll take the pressure off Kurt a bit and it'd be so good to have him back around the young boys again.
 
Yeah after last night i think we need more of a leader out there with Bedsy to also steer them around and create that play we just need to gain the metres, or catch someone offside or get through a gap which he does so well. As does De Gois, but Bedsy i think would be great to have back in the team.
 
In todays paper bedsy has said the his home sick business is bull and is looking for a 2 year deal with leeds or another superleague team.
He doesnt wanna play against the knights and believes degois is the knights future
