I think the other thing that may get us Fergo is Pearce , Skd and Guerra telling him how much better it is to live in Newy than in Sydney especially with a young Familly that alone could get us over the line …

Lovely piece of truth from the Roosters. Recruitment is meant to happen in the shadows! They would love that, if all recruitment happened without the public knowing, and only signing announcements made.

This right here is why salaries should be public, no shadowy back room dealings involving bag men and 3rd party agreements.

Anyway, they wanted to keep Pearce and he left. I wonder what thoughts Fergo had about that whole affair and how it went down.

I see no reason why their salaries can't be made public as a matter of transparency. As a government employee, my salary is in the public domain for all to see whether I want it to be or not.

Robbo needs to chill a bit, Brown didn't do anything wrong.
 
We have made our offer, if Blake wants to come here then he will.

If not, rather not have him just for a few extra hundred K but he would rather have played somewhere else.

THE Parramatta Eels have signed former Blues State of Origin winger Blake Ferguson on a three-year deal to start next season.

Ferguson will quit the Roosters at the end of the season to sign a $1.5 million contract with the Eels, his fourth club in the NRL following stints at Cronulla, Canberra and the Roosters.

The Roosters star knocked back an offer from the Newcastle Knights to accept Parramatta’s offer.

He also had an approach from the Cronulla Sharks, who need to replace Newcastle bound Edrick Lee

He had been offered a one-year extension at the Roosters but wanted long-term security.

Ferguson has been off alcohol and gambling since going into rehab in the last off-season.

We really could of done with his metres out of our own end.
Our main focus should be props though.

I was highly unaware of anything gambling related, probably not that fussed after seeing guys like Simona/Foran/Tandy
 
The Eels have also dangled a centre spot at him and paid him to be a centre also as opposed to us and the sharks where he's be a winger

Take Michael Jennings if we can at half the price?
 
Jennings had a 2 year option extension in his favour that he had to agree to before June 30. If he hasnt done so maybe he's a free agent. His form this year has been surprisingly average. He was outstanding for Tonga in the world cup.

Eels have been an abomination so it's hard to say

Not saying I want it to happen but the discussion might kick off again
