Australia v New Zealand Test - 13 October @ Dairy Farmers Stadium

Not until League overcomes Union in NZ as the biggest sport will NZ truly be dominate or equal to Australia constantly.

So....I should put money on Australia to dominate for the next....forever years then. Thought tonight was a really good game, that try Beale scored off Perrett's bomb take was fantastic.

i thought it was pretty good...certainly no lack of commitment or intensity...i did wonder if the players would even care to play this one or whether they'd rather be away on holiday but all in all it was alright...

What the hell was Williams starting at lock for :S

Great win by the Aussies, showed their class and experience for the last 60 minutes. Just too good once again and I think they will always be too good for the kiwis for a long LONG time, you look at how dominant the young Australians are over the young kiwis and its good signs for the future. Go Aussies!

Err, the Juinior Kiwis had won two out of the last three games against the Junior Kangaroos before last night.

I think once you see Thurston, Cam Smith, Slater and Cronk all depart at roughly the same time, things will certainly change. It'll be similar to the Australian cricket side when all their big guns left at once.

As it is, NZ does hold the major trophy with those guys still there.

Was it just me or was Inglis dead set average last night. The amount of times Boyd had to come off his wing last night to cover him in defence was ridiculous and if Tim Sheens holds onto the job after last nights performance then it is a joke.

I do have to say that penalty that gave Australia the two point lead was crucial, and was an absolute joke.

Apart from that, the reffing was miles better with just one referee!!!

Was not a penalty at all. I can't understand thou why NZ always play two 5/8th surely there is a decent 7 somewhere?

Well there's Johnson, but he ended the season in pretty shocking form (and got dropped to NSW Cup). He'd probably still have been my choice, though. The NZ selectors rate Foran a lot more highly than I do ...

Strange thing is Cherry-Evans is the organizer for Manly not Foran so why put Foran in that role. I still don't understand how Fien won a world cup then got dropped 12 months later yet Marshal does stuff all and they make him captain.

Unlikely, Australia has a mountain of incredibly talented and young players that will move in those positions. Australia will remain the dominant and No. 1 side for decades to come.

What I was about say. While our superstars are getting old now, Australia's production line will just keep coming. We are already seeing guys like Barba, the 2 Reynolds, DCE, all those young props starting to develop.

He was at centre. If he was at fullback he would have had more or an imprint on the game. If they are too play him at centre, he needs to get a lot more early ball. I didn't even see him & Boyd barely till the 20th minute.

Fien has retired from internationals now ... when did he get dropped? He was still at halfback in 2010 when NZ won the Four Nations. He did have a stint on the bench at hooker in between the World Cup and then, though.

As for Marshall doing nothing, if he didn't play in that 2010 Four Nations final, Australia win comfortably.

Sounds like what NSW were saying before Andrew Johns retired!
