I agree with this completely but what about Thaiday?
 
I really think Woods and Merrin deserve a spot in the Australian team. Woods has been one of the form props this year and was probably top 3 last year. Merrin's another who is playing brilliant this year at lock (playing like a 3rd prop) and has been consistently great for a few years now.

Knee injury rules Sonny Bill Williams out of Trans-Tasman Test

ROOSTERS superstar Sonny Bill Williams will miss Friday night's Trans-Tasman Test against Australia in Caberra because of a knee injury.

The Kiwis team will be named later today but in an official release, the NZRL said "One player who won't be considered is Sonny Bill Williams".
Sonny aggravated an injury to his right knee in Friday's game for the Sydney Roosters in their 38-0 win over the Bulldogs, when he scored two tries.
The injury was reviewed by the Roosters medical officer Dr John Orchard on Saturday and referred to orthopedic surgeon Dr Tim Musgrove.
Williams has had a Synvisc gel injection and will not be able to train or play for a minimum of seven days.
