He's been saying that ever since he left! At his age I don't see too much benefit in it, better to give a youngster like Salkeld a chance. Also, Carney is playing for peanuts, we won't have much/any money to spend on a replacement next year.
It would be nice to see him playing for a bit more exciting club than Cronulla though, I can't see him getting many opportunities for crossing for heaps of tries there, although he's doing okay so far ...
