Yes, we may not win all 4 of the games I listed, we may win 1 or 2 of the other games. I don’t claim to be Nostradamus unlike someone else we know.
My opinion is that Flanagan is the best available coach available at the moment and has been for a while.
We’ve been underperforming under AOB for just as long.

I agree and at the very least I'm amazed the club didnt ensure experienced assistant coaches for our rooky, Are the Wests Group running the club on the cheap? or just inept?

There’s a level of inconsistency in most of the teams this year.
Think anybody can beat anybody on their day.
6 points from 1st to 14th (obviously the bye complicates things a bit).
We are definitely at a crossroads.
A couple of wins would position us nicely in the 8.
A couple of losses would put us in a battle with the Dragons for the spoon pretty quick with cowboys to have 2 byes, eels and bulldogs with 1 bye. AOB definitely goes if we are anywhere near that club that can’t convince a rookie to take millions and a 4 year deal.
As a club, we should definitely be thinking about what next if AOB doesn’t come good. I assume no finals this season and he’s gone? We don’t want to be in the position of Dragons where we give him a few weeks of next season, decide he’s rubbish, write off another whole season.

I'm not overly confident if we win any of these games. Dolphins in Perth might be a chance.
Dragons and Bulldogs when they both play us go to a another level play like it's personal. I don't think we've beaten the Dragons since 2020 and the last time we beat Doggies was when they sacked Barrett.
Tigers maybe but they have improved quite considerably from when we played them in Round 2 and from what I saw in that game the Tigers couldn't have played worse.
Roosters could be a winnable game next week with how they are going and we have beaten them a few times in the last few years but nothing is certain with our mob.

I feel like with AOB and I'm sure I've said this before that we are in no man's land with him. He hasn't improved many players in this side and most go backwards significantly eg Jake Clifford and Lachie Miller. Dom Young probably one of the only players he has improved and he's leaving at the end of the season.
We haven't got a clear identity either or style that suits the team. It seems AOB's playbook is mainly the 2009 Storm style with regular one out plays and predictable bombs on 5th tackle.
I just don't think it's working out with AOB and think we need to make the hard call and move on before it's too late.
I would bring in a proven experience premiership winning coach whether it's Hasler, Maguire or Flanagan or Morris who played for the club and could be a Andrew Webster like appointment.

I was watching a clip on YouTube where Denan Kemp said much the same thing … he doesn’t know anything more about what sort of side we want to be compared to last season. We’ve tried hard some weeks, but there’s no identity to the team.

and yet could not be convinced to stay, with English mates arriving next season and settled in the Hunter.
I read he wants to play centre and was promised a shot there by Trent Robinson , with an aging Gagai ready to finish up it does make me wonder how AOB gets players to buy in to his vision of the team, and what clear pathway he offers players.
The Knights will regret big time for the next decade, letting go this potentially generational talent,

We arent likely to win a premiership in the next forseeable future without the players getting their attitudes right.
Madge will either motivate them with his hard line stance, or blow the place up, either option is needed at this point.

Not like they didn’t try. I wouldn’t be happy with them spending more than 500k on a centre who can’t tackle for ****. Smart in the end. See what they can get in future.
