Put two lines through them!
I do apologize if I come across as pessimistic. Even if we don't make the top 4, this year will be a massive success and Justin deserves coach of the year. But I just think we are all getting a bit carried away. The reality is we are a few levels below the other top 4 teams like the Riff, Wahs and Roosters. After all, each of those sides flogged us with ease. Our weak p/d also means that if we start losing matches, we can drop down the ladder very quickly and find ourselves on the edge of the 8. We have a very tough draw to finish the year which is what makes me nervous. You just can’t please some people, must be fun at parties…
Ps. These are the game we would have lost just last year, it’s alright to smile mate.
This is mostly factual. Unsure why people take this personally. We're even lucky to be playing the Bunnies without Trell and WalkerIf we are being real, our run into the top 4 has been on the back of a lucky recent draw. Dragons (twice), Titans, Eels, Tigers and a Phins B side without 6 origin stars. And only 2 of those games were 13+ victories. We were very lucky to get away with most of those wins in all honesty. We will need to improve markedly given that our draw luck is going to run out after this week. We also need to massively improve our p/d if we want to remain in the 4. Our P/D is worse than all of the other teams in the mix for the top 4.
I personally don’t rate the Sharks and Roosters one bit…if they get luck of the draw like everyone else but run into a buzz saw if they face Penrith etc, they seem to be a thorn in the side similar to the Storm and Panthers.I may be wrong but I reckon the Sharks and the Roosters will beat us comfortably. Maybe that's the Knights trauma talking. We'll find out
Away teams have all won and won big so far this round. Maybe the eels are gonna put a score on the Roosters
Please! I want to see that so badly!Away teams have all won and won big so far this round. Maybe the eels are gonna put a score on the Roosters
We beat the Rabbits with Trell and Walker, we were leading easily against a full strength Roosters without Best, Ponga and Lucas the last time we played. This is mostly factual. Unsure why people take this personally. We're even lucky to be playing the Bunnies without Trell and Walker

I'm aware of our position on the ladder, the discussion was around how different our position could be if we, for example, played any of the top 4 twice, instead of playing the Dragons and the Tigers twice. We beat the Rabbits with Trell and Walker, we were leading easily against a full strength Roosters without Best, Ponga and Lucas the last time we played.
You don’t just fall into top 4 we are a good side, “fans” can try and pull us down all they want I’ll be with the majority and actually enjoy not being the laughing stock of league.
I swear some people just want us to suck and hate it when we win
We are a few levels below Penrith, the rest is wide open. Far from impressed enough from the Roosters to say they are a few levels above us. Context also matters, we weren't close to full strength in any of those games, while they were essentially playing their best teams. The reality is we are a few levels below the other top 4 teams like the Riff, Wahs and Roosters. After all, each of those sides flogged us with ease.
