2026 Season

The NRL has said today that the decision to award a penalty was correct.
So I guess if there was a try to win in golden point that would usually be an 8 point try, penalised in the act of scoring, you'd still get to kick the penalty part of it ... so you could theoretically win a golden point game by 6 points. Interesting!

Tries in golden point are not converted.

It shouldn't have happened, the reff should use common sense and just call the game done. Could you imagine if the cowboys won, it would be a very crazy week in the media and that reff probably wouldnt be allowed anywhere near Sydney again
That can’t happen, the ball is no longer in play. Shot taken, game over

And I take if the penalty kick is missed and fielded in the field of play, that becomes full time because the golden point has already been scored. So I guess it makes sense. Probably a RL trivia question in a few years, which team won in golden point by 3?

Bunnies aren't a one-player team, but attack-wise I don't reckon they can match the Sharks (assuming they turn up) without Latrell.

Edit: I take it back, the flat-track bully Sharks suck.

Would seem like the sensible thing to do. We've all been suckered into thinking the Sharks had gotten over their flat-track bully status. Their attack tonight has been pedestrian at best.

Edit: lol I forgot to change mine and am still on the Rabbits...but I took the Sharks in my multi #Sad.

So what's Gutho's position next season? Hits the weights during the offseason and moves to lock? 14? They have 4 halfs trying to fit into two spots: Flannagan, King-T, Reed, Anderson. Won't be FB obviously, surely not at centre, although Holmes is also looking pretty busted atm.

Sharks are just like any team that are a rung below Penrith. Literally seems like any team can beat anyone on their day. And the Bulldogs can beat Penrith.

And I don’t trust any of those second tier team it can genuinely seem like 50-50 but didn’t expect a drubbing either here
