2026 Season

First game back for Leo, not good, but I rate Ciraldo as a coach and will get more out of him than AOB did. In the same way, KPP has vastly improved under Benji. That said, $820k still looks like well overs.

PS. Dogs really struggling without Critter. Hope he's fit for Origin.

Savage… lol

Seemed inevitable, and from his comments and demeanour, Flanno seemed to know he was gone with another loss.

I doubt they're going to get the same improvement at the Dragons as we've seen at Manly by shedding the coach.

Their list is a mess, and that's on the board, which is really what the sacking is about: taking the pressure off them. I hope the Dragons fans keep their focus on the board that has led them to this disaster.

Coach blames the cattle and says we can’t win the comp before a ball is kicked off, keeps blaming everyone including Ben Hunt despite having full control of the roster. And making the same excuses three years later

Just thankful we won’t have Foxsports linking Flanno to every club any time soon

Dragons' Chairman is throwing everyone under the bus....except the board.

'"A lot of it absolutely deserved, some of it poor and some of it about personal agendas," ....

"Our coverage of this great game, this great club should be better."'

I know we shouldn't be smug coming off a spoon and two significant losses, but it could be a lot worse. The Dragons are looking like the new Tigers. A complete basketcase, stuck at the bottom, with anyone, any good desperate to get out.

in defense of the people picking at the board they’re the ones who signed off on it before being sold a lemon by Flanno despite being offered hopes and dreams

Hard to say exactly but not everyone there loved the hire, understandably so

Agree, Flanno deserved the sack. But what we don't see is the board owning their part in this disaster; they hired him and signed off on all the decisions...blaming the media for the club's failings is a weak Trump-esq move.

Roster problems at the Dragons go on long before Flanno; his son was signed as a 14 well before he joined, and is currently their best 7.

Kent has suggested some club boards are made up of members who just want their blazer and corporate box seats on a Sunday and won't do anything to rock that boat.

Still a long way to go but I tipped the Dragons to get the spoon before the season started. I don’t know why some of the “experts” didn’t have them spoon also. Heaps of them had us! 🥚 on the faces.
