2026 Season

Yeah I gotta say never watched much of niokore. But defence looks soft as s$@t. Lets in a try, fails to wrap up and offload then try, lazy head high, then hooked by the coach.

Normally he is pretty solid in defence, everyone is entitled to a bad game, so I wouldn’t read to much into this game, if it happens next week is when you’d be worried

Storm play so dirty.
Every tackle there is a ruck infringement.
Looks like a tactic and they are counting on the ref not calling all of them.

They have some huge outs, but nonetheless they are really struggling to deal with any kind of physicality at the moment to a degree which is uncharacteristic for them. And also any kind of speed.

Warriors up for the challenge and out enthused them, must have been some power or something in that dildo they were all grabbing at and clutching pre game in the sheds.

Unforgivable stuff from Niukore, only Tanah Boyd and himself after making first contact, front on. And he just falls off. Very average
Nukora’s first contact hasn’t been great and he seemed to drift in and out of the game in his first stint.
Is he returning from injury as he seems to be lacking some condition?
Only a small sample size tonight but will be watching him closely going forward.

Seems like Flanno is still blaming Bent Hunt wanting a release two years ago LOL

Which is really a pathetic cop out considering Hunt asked for the release straight away and didn’t kick stones when things were playing out, compared to Shane who’s been crying about it to his media mates ever since after it happened and threw Hunt under the bus.

Had more then enough time to find someone but his solution ‘just play Kyle’ was his trump card and it hasn’t panned out. Had a few options who either didn’t get better or were gone after his watch.

It’s surely a concern for Dragons fans that he’s still blaming Hunt for something he should have fixed and settled upon ages ago…

He can’t coach 🤷‍♂️ last time he did well we all know what was found in the systems…

God my tipping has been atrocious this year. This week, Melbourne were vulnerable, and warriors playing decent. Should have back the Wahs. Game not over but should have backed the Titans, Parra heaps of injuries, Moses potentially underdone, tough game last week.

Anyway, I think Tigers could be the same, tough game against Parra and one day less prep than us.

I thought that was a tough one you would expect Melbourne to bounce back with a vengeance plus I don’t even remember the last time they lost to them at AAMI.

Had a look, that was 17 wins in a row for the Storm against the Warriors

Broncos and Cowboys is always a coin flip too.

With the Eels outs I would say I’m not surprised at the loss and the titans didn’t look too bad against the broncos

Last time a side lost back to back grand finals they missed the 8 in the following season with Roosters in 2005.

Never seen the Storm look so vulnerable in my time of watching the NRL. Munster's form has fallen off a cliff. James said it last week but it wouldn't be a shock footy isn't the Storm's isn't the number 1 priority right now.

Well if they want finals, they will have to make it their number 1 through 10 priority because they are in free fall at the moment.

I think the changes they’ve had over the last year have had a bit of an underlying theme of “there’s more important things in life”.

Katoa and Kamikamica - health trumps footy. No doubt they have some concern for these players. *

Paps and to a degree NAS - leaving to experience life and things outside of footy. Could have easily played again, but just couldn’t motivate themselves for whatever reasons. Is that a reflection of the overall mood at the Storm?

To a lesser extent Meaney and Wishart leaving, the club trying to get in Lomax.

Munster and Hughes are also getting on a little. Hard to argue with them re-signing Hughes post Dally M win. But in hindsight (knowing what we can see now) they probably needed to get Pezet and/or Wishart in more. Now they find themselves in need of some halves in the next few years.

*I follow Liverpool in the EPL and over the off season they had a teammate pass away in a car accident. There was/is a lot to honour Jota in the opening rounds, games against his former club, reminders during each game etc. no doubt his has a bit of an effect on players. I can see
