I’ve changed my tip from Cronulla back to Wahs. I think there will be a bounce back from them.
Yeah I'm torn on that one too, look great against the Raiders then had that 10-38 loss to the Dolphins but unsurprisingly grinded to dust against PenrithI’ve changed my tip from Cronulla back to Wahs. I think there will be a bounce back from them.
Outside looking in it’s more the roster than the coach. Although the coach made decisions on purchasing players at the back end of there careers. Not sure the Dragons can salvage anything from that list, Lefty. That said, personally, I'd be looking to move Gutho out of FB even if it was for the rocks and diamonds, Sloane. Dragons made a couple of breaks yesterday, and Gutho was desperately trying to connect with them, but just didn't have the pace.
Edit: Zero tackle agrees with both of us, Lefty. Flannagan and Gutho have to go.

Untenable: Shane Flanagan must go, but he isn't the only one
The Dragons were booed off Kogarah on Saturday night, and with good reason.www.zerotackle.com
I saw enough in the St George coaches box the other day, particularly with the looks on the faces of Flanagan and Ennis.Yet he’s the front runner at Manly?
There haven’t been many teams who have maintained success after old Wayne leaves."The St George Illawarra Dragons have reportedly put a freeze on all contract negotiations with the current playing group after their horror start to the year."
Should help with morale.

Dragons make shock club wide contract decision
It comes with the Dragons losing five from five to start 2026.www.zerotackle.com
Surprised Cook is playing on, if anything, he should be looking to the Super League.
Really? I remember him taking credit for talking the Tigers in to giving Benji a go!! Was anyone taking any notice of the drunken ramblings anyway?I remember six months into Flanno and Benjis first year a few years ago Buzz was gloating on 360 how he told Richo he should have hired Flanno instead of Benji....whoops
Last decade (2016-2025) he’s had a winning percentage of 56.2%, which is pretty good (for comparison, AOB was 42.8%). Throw in a grand final loss, a minor premiership, three top four finishes and six top eight finishes, he’s done pretty well. Expectations are usually low for them, and I think they’d struggle to attract a replacement top line coach.I was thinking yesterday, does anyone else wonder why Ricky Stuart seems to avoid the same pressure other coaches face? He’s been with the Canberra Raiders for over a decade, and across roughly 24 years of coaching, he’s only secured one premiership and that was in his first year of coaching. It just feels like he rarely comes under the kind of scrutiny you’d expect with that record.
