2026 Season

Surprising move giving Seibold last night's game then sacking him afterwards when they could have done it during their bye last week.

Or what they should have done is sack him at the end of last season.

Dreadful coach who did the impossible of giving the Broncos their only spoon and somehow through his agent Isaac Moses managed to get a job at Manly.

Maybe Manly are a making last minute ploy at Willie Peters.

AOB brought him in here for a year too, to stink the place up as a “coaching consultant “

Seibold seemingly came from nowhere after Madge got shafted at the Bunnies for winning a premiership, and he was being talked up as the saviour.
He has proven he is not the “saviour “at the Bunnies, Broncos and now Manly, all clubs that had strong rosters when he took over.
Isaac Moses can apparently sell ice to Eskimos

Sounds like Seibold needs to take a period of time away from the game and consider his options and look after his mental health.
Sometimes a period away from the furnace and doing something completely different can give a new perspective.
Hope he is being supported by the club.

If anyone saw the Tigers beat the Wahs in NZ tonight, I was wondering if we can get a set of Adam Douhie hamstrings for Ponga.
He looked gone for all money last week, but carved the Wahs up tonight.
Maybe the trainers got him off the field before more damage was done ( sarcasm intended)

He's done well for a guy that had an ACL reco and seemed like he was ridiculously overpaid for a while, but that may be because of the cap going up too. Goes to show you sometimes it's worth being a bit patient with guys, but with teams like Tigers at the bottom, also kind of didn't have a choice.

Yes, that's fair, but IDK, it would not shock me if Manly were desperately looking for an off-ramp when they should have done something about the situation after his last major head knock. They don't seem to be a very well-run club.
Oh I agree they don’t seem very well run. To be honest I don’t think they have been well run for at least 10 years. Seems to always be some kind of off field issues to do with ownership or in the boardroom. Probably has been that way since Toovey was coach

I also think Jurbo should have medically retired last season, but some players just won’t listen.

A stronger club would probably have forced it though. I couldn’t see a team like the Roosters allowing him to continue.

I reckon he is one more concussion away now though

The Roosters would do it for their own benefit, not for the players if they thought they couldn’t get the same production out of them.

Duke on the sideline is good. Duke as the main guy is good awful at best. Everything is over the top and forced

Duke is worse
Yeah it was painful to listen to Duke for 80 minutes. I hope that’s not a continuous thing going forward or at least for Knight games. Made listening to Blocker more tolerable lol. Some people just don’t have the voice for it

You could replace him with a million other hacks on the sideline for that matter and wouldn’t know the difference.

Actually have a lot more respect for the rest of the commentators after listening to Duke haha. But maybe he will improve!
