2026 Recruitment And Retention

Pretty sure that’s where he’s girlfriend is from too, so wouldn’t shock me. Especially if Green looks to be headed there as well.
Could have good relationship with siebold when he was with knights that would free up a lot of money to put towards forwards with sharpe a more then capable replacement for ponga

Thanks for the updates regarding the 30 man squad

Seems like we have a bit of confusion with how many

I did think the Mooney signing was held up until we offloaded Cogger, but I wasn’t sure

Your welcome.

I update the list each time a signing is announced, so it should be accurate.

so 31 like stated until Annan is officially released, good to have the full list though

Hey nice to see it's not just us.

Actually think there's a fair chance that the offer of Pezet to Souths was that it's an option for a permanent move in the back of his mind if Munster extends - Souths is a club he deems to be of an acceptable standard for his golden goose, the loan gives the Bunnies a nice try before they buy period. Very funny that the Dragons are a no-go because of how mean they were to Ilias, but the Rabbitohs who dumped Ilias to begin with are acceptable. Pretty clear it's about their idea of the standard of club, not "they're mean". The Bunnies have a better track record of recent success and they have Wayne. Simple as that.

To my mind this instantly makes Bulldogs, Roosters, Broncos all smokies to end up with him. If not Storm, Jonah wants a different top of the table and/or "glamour" club, clearly, and even though those clubs have gun junior spine talent, they have shown themselves to be ruthless outfits. Obviously Newy so far off that it's not funny.

But the Dogs were a graveyard only a few years ago.

The club wants to challenge perceptions? Win. Winning solves everything.

Jogged my memory that Brisbane have Coby Black who played 7 for QLD 18s origin waiting. He will be 20 next year and contracted until the end of 2026 at the moment. Touted as the Reynolds replacement. Thought he would be locked down for a little longer though, which surprises me.

Have to assume he will end up at a QLD team though.

Looked good in the origin game, barking orders, taking control. Until a HIA. But I think he did well and was curious to see if he got a run at the end of the year.

Can’t find any highlights of 2025, but from 2024 (he was wearing 6) he seems to have a decent kick, lots of grubbers for tries, good running game and seems to take a hit pretty well and regroup quickly.

Yeah Coby Black is a gun, pretty similar to Reyno. Bulldogs and Roosters have the Aussie schoolboys halves, Mitch Woods and Toby Rodwell, respectively.

Was just saying that while they put things in place for long term building, they’ll absolutely **** those kids over if their eyes light up at the sight of something better, if they can get it.

Now with Sandon in the halves, wonder if the plan is to play Phoenix at 9 or go to market?
Walters and Paix not available now.
