2026 Recruitment And Retention

The inbreds and Nazis on the Cowboys forum seem to think Sandon isn’t going to sign there btw. So I guess we’ve reached an impasse. Everyone thinks he’s picked the other mob.
An answer would be nice!

Maybe that last minute extra effort from POS might get him over the line 🤞

I’m not good at being patient 😅 & boy do we need something positive

As I mentioned the timing is weird with a new coach coming in. Not sure when the original offer was made to him. Was it before or after AOB leaving? Is he going to wait till a new coach is appointed? Is that risk with the cows?

How long will the process take to get and appoint a new coach? Surely that would come into his decision who the new coach is and what are the plans for him. Hooker or half.

It's possible the Roosters don't want an announcement untill their season is over.
They have to release him before an announcement.

Those things are always a waste of time in any sport.
I agree. I think there’s better ways to achieve the same thing.

Listening to the Storm talk about theirs, it’s looking at how they cope under stress, lack of sleep, being uncomfortable and relying on one another.

for example: most people that do Kokoda speak of a similar effect. (I don’t know logistics, I think there’s a good/bad time to do it). You could almost turn it into an initiative or go overseas and help build shelters or some kind of “aid” initiative. I think it would be great PR, gets the team together away from distractions, train while there, and do some good in the world.

Back breaking, physical challenges that often lead to injury seems very silly when working with very well paid athletes.
