2026 Draw

Can’t ask for a much better draw than that. Only play Broncos, Storm and Penrith once. No Thursday night games and only 1 Friday 6PM home game.

Great result for us. Now we just need them to have a go on the field and take advantage of the soft draw.
 
The placement of the byes is really the only thing that’s not great. There’s one long stretch before the first bye, then they only play 2 games before the second bye. That means they end the season with another long stretch without a break.

The last round bye could be useful if they actually make the 8, otherwise it’s just an early holiday
 
The fox sports predicted ladder was interesting. Predicting Roosters to come 1st is diabolical. I think Manly will struggle, not make the top 8.

Yes it would be better if we played during the main bye week as we probably won’t have anyone in origin, so we could have played weakened teams eg Parra without Moses and Lomax
 
So the NRL have looked after us again with another relatively easy draw. It's like they are scared to give us a truly difficult draw and watch the Knights get destroyed all season.

Fox tipping the Roosters to finish first is the DCE factor. I wouldn't pay any attention to predictions.
 
Also, I know it’s a gimmick, but I’ve been enjoying some of the draw videos coming out.

We have just as much creativity off the field as on in 2025.

Haha, not a bit. Not really a prediction either, just giving a very alternative view on having the bye in the last round. I can see us being in the 8 or right in the fight going in to that last round. Might be a very important 2 points in the end!
 
Just reading the fox article with the ladder predictor. I don’t quite understand it. If it based on this years results of the teams ladder prediction won’t change much.

Anyway, yeah few people picking us last. If we are picking wooden spooners Saints side looks pretty uninspiring to me. No new big signings. There best player is probably Holmes, who’s a centre and aging one of that.

Yeah the "lab" prediction is a nothing burger. Based off last seasons results and next seasons draw. Doesn't take any player/coach movement in to account. Of course there isn't going to be much movement of teams. Not saying the lab is wrong, apparently it has gone from strength to strength since they hired Walter White to run it, but the input data in this case isn't going to lead to any real predictions.

lol the NRL isn’t scared they just don’t care, nor does anyone else that’s the problem.

It’s not the NRL looking after us, it’s just that we’re irrelevant. The big clubs and broadcasters don’t want to waste 2 games or free to air time on us. The Knights don’t bring ratings or big enough crowds, simple as that. The Bronx certainly don’t want to waste one of their homes games on us

That’s why we get the Raiders, Titans, Tigers, etc and usually either the Sharks or Dragons twice every year.

Channel 9 made the mistake of giving them a lot of free to air games after 23 when they were actually good to watch. Unfortunately, in 24 we went straight back to being as dull as bat****, so I think it’s going to be a while before we’re trusted with many FTA games

We’ve been relegated to mostly 2 and 3 pm games this year so there shouldn’t be any excuse about playing some attacking footy
 
While I guess it sucks for the people that can’t afford paid tv, I honestly don’t mind that we don’t have a lot of FTA games even back in the day

Oh my god before getting kayo I had to watch free to air and I hated having to hear the absolute ****e that was Joey, Gould and Thompson, it’s not much better on paid but it is slightly better.

Yeah the Raiders, Panthers, Storm, and the Fins draws and the Warriors NRLW videos are fantastic.

Good to see the Knights social team didn’t feel the need to do anything other than the bare minimum
