Probably best not to listen to Buzz when it comes to the Knights. His 360 show said years back the Knights needed to squeeze out Daniel Saifiti and Bradman Best due to salary cap pressure. The Knights then proceeded to re-sign Best, and Jacob Saifiti then, as well as being in the hunt for one of the Roosters props I think it was before he re-signed with them.

Then there is talk of this imaginary roster clean out when it has only been Daniel Saifiti that has been talked about. Which does seem to be an O'Sullivan thing. But Baz has mentioned it already so thats not really groundbreaking news. And then there are talks of extending other guys (Gagai earlier), maybe Tuala, signing Brad Arthurs son, Cant, Gamble, Schiller etc.

The other guys mentioned like Brailey and Hastings/Elliot are off contract and approachable after Nov 1 anyway so its just simple roster turnover like every club has. Just shockingly bad journalism from Foxsports as usual.

Sounds like Buzz is contradicting himself again being confused about guys being tapped on the shoulder getting them into the finals when it was just baseless rumours (as usual when it comes to Foxsports) guessing salaries and playing imaginary accountants

Had we lost sunday, buzz would of said we are doing the right thing getting rid of deadwood. The guy is just living breathing clickbait.

I'd take anything Buzz says with a grain of salt.

Yeh, sorry, I was more referencing the context behind Anasta’s comments about needing a playmaker….. as opposed to believing much of what Buzz says.

Ah yeah all good, I do agree none of our halves are elite. And it seems like that is one of O'Sullivan's first targets hence the Pezet news. But we've all known that for a while lol.
And it's actually amazing we make the 8 with them with that said. But Crossland has come a long way finding things he's good at and worth keeping around compared to guys like Tex Hoy, Brock Lamb, Adam Clune etc and not just another failed utility.

Yeah that was a strange talking point from him. In a vacuum it makes sense, we made the finals, why are we overhauling the roster? But he acts like just three weeks ago everyone in the game weren't saying the Knights were **** and should sack the coach and all the players. Just being negative for the sake of being negative Buzz.
 
Buzz is a total pisswreck. If it’s possible to take something with less than a grain of salt, I’d advise to do it when he mumbles a barely coherent sentence.

The comments probably had something to do with the News/Fox financially backed Dolphins and Buzz's mate Flanno competing for a spot in the 8 as well. Would want one of them or the Broncos in. Dragons stumbled at the last hurdles. Probably saw the Knights had a soft run home those last few games so every week and kept jamming in the talk of a clean out after every win lol. Didn't really talk about them much before that other than repeating a 'roster cleanout'. But outside of Foxsports repeating the same thing for over a month no one else at the Knights is saying there is an overhaul going on?

Plus apparently the players were turning on AOB according to them and there was a divide, then there was the whole 13th place void contract clause. If they were right about any of that or the unrest they would have given up on him and not made the 8.

And when you look at their losses against the Storm and Panthers (the benchmark) and even that Roosters ones, it wasn't THAT far off compared to previous years. Then you look at the really unlucky golden point losses to the Sharks and Cowboys. Not playing for 80 or close to it really hurt those ones more then anything.
 
DSaf was interviewed on NBN News, and despite just yesterday saying he was putting it off until after the finals he now says he and his partner don’t want it to linger and hope to get it finalised ASAP, so sounds like he must be very close to an agreement somewhere.

Probably won’t be anything officially announced until after we’re eliminated anyway but wouldn’t be surprised if we hear something substantial in the next couple of days.
 
Can't watch nrl 360. It is so very poor. Fox is click bait dribble.

So many good podcasts with actual analysis; Bloke in a bar, The Knighted, Billy slater, Boom Rookies etc etc

Will be signing with Dolphins apparently to replace Jesse Bromwich, TPJ, and Tom Flegler who needs shoulder surgery

Croker has been up and down over the past few years. Seems to have gotten the errors out of his game that were holding him back. He must be on more than O'Sullivan is happy with. I hope we have juniors that can perform the same role of spelling Elliot and being the link man
