2025 Recruitment And Retention

Hasn't been able to stay on the field in recent years but was great in his return on the weekend. Not saying I hope we sign him necessarily but we're going to need to add at least one cheap, experienced prop assuming DSaf goes and he fits that description.
 
Trouble is he might not play half the games due to injuries and will cost more than those we currently have, we have had these types of signings too often

Yeah. Look Iā€™m stoked if he dominates teams for the next 5 weeks and is the form prop of the comp šŸ¤ž

But he lost me when he came out saying ā€œball is my courtā€ like buddy. Fans have paid there hard earned that they could probably do with saving to go watch there team and a guy who says heā€™s the ā€œalpha maleā€ of the squad put in half arsed efforts for past 5 years. Now heā€™s been told he can go and sun doesnā€™t revolve around him, he suddenly plays like when he got picked for origin.

Iā€™m happy to see him go, we need actual leaders at the club, if heā€™s the current leader than he is setting a ****ty example.

If he played like this for majority of last 5 years were consistently a top 8 team.

He is the one that is causing his young family having to move away from the rest of his family. That will affect his family.

People on here should appreciate if you have family support around it makes parenting a hell of a lot easier, short of him getting a 3 plus year deal it wouldn't be worth it for him to move for mine.

It's really a shame that Dsaf was never dropped for his form, for the entirety of the past few years. I don't care if he's better than some young prop coming through. Dropping him back to the bench was probably a win from Dsaf point of view - became more comfortable with less responsibility/impact, and got to see his twin brother take his spot. Some of the defensive effort has been alarmingly bad for the past few seasons, even during our good run last season, there were some shockers from Dsaf.
