I read today that Peter V’landys is going to ask dumb ar.. Trump to be at the Vegas opening to the 2025 season!

Would be great for our game. Regardless of what you think of him will put massive exposure of eyes and spotlight that would be invaluable.

The closer we get to the season the more confident I am of us having a big year.
Last year we were below par for a lot of the year with Ponga, Best, Gamble (who were 3 of our absolute best during our big run in 2023) all missing significant game time.

The fight and grit we showed to make the Semis with a makeshift halves pairing and a month of sudden death footy gives me hope too.

Not mad about us being completely written off by the pundits either. The lack of expectations coupled with a soft early draw will see us shock pretty much everyone. Can see us sneaking a Top 4 spot against all odds.

Matt from Boom Rookies podcast has us in 4th. He thinks we've been knocking on the door for a few years and is bullish on KP and Bradman.

He's got some concerns about the middles but still thinks there's enough to do something decent this year. Likes our draw also.

Can’t say I’ve heard of the dude. Most punters are picking us bottom 4.
 
From what I’ve seen, one thing in our favour is I haven’t heard of any injuries come out of our squad this pre season. Other clubs I’ve heard have had injuries, the tigers, south’s, and other clubs. This should work in our favour at the start of the season.
