Dreadful day for NZ, dodnt make the most of things with the bat, not helped by umpiring decisions, and losing Tickner to concussion is a huge blow. Foulkes is trash and shouldn’t even be in the squad, imo, so he’s not a good replacement at all. NZ boned.

Still not much left in this bowling attack after Smith and O’Rourke, so plenty of chances for England to get close. Sears looks well down on pace, I think injuries have caught up with him.

I’d be bringing Santner on for a spell now if I was Latham.
