Absolutely. The positive footwork is back.He is a world class player, he was just badly out of form. Form is temporary, class is permanent.

If you watch the highlights of his innings on the Cricket Australia website, he looked back to his best.Absolutely. The positive footwork is back.
Ive seen a fee highlights, might watch some extended ones
Thanks Lefty, his footwork is much simplified and a whole lot more positive. However he has worked on it, it looks like he has stripped his game back.![]()
Shield watch: Marnus goes large, Weatherald just misses ton | cricket.com.au
There were runs for some Ashes contenders on the second day of the Sheffield Shield's second roundwww.cricket.com.au
Scroll down to the highlights.
Tail looks a tad long, no Cummins, Lyon 9 etc, hope 1-6 do the jobOur most likely 11 barring injuries is:
1 Khawaja
2 Labuschagne
3 Smith
4 Green
5 Head
6 Webster
7 Carey
8 Starc
9 Lyon
10 Hazelwood
11 Boland.
O’Neill is a very impressive prospect, if he avoids injury, he will definitely play for Australia.Reckon we should pick Fergus O’Neill over Boland. It’s pretty harsh on Boland but we need to look at the future. Picking a 24 year old who’s in great form with a great first class record makes more sense than picking a 36 year old.
That’s my preferred 3-6 to batI think the top 11 will actually end up being
Khawaja
Weatherald
Labuschagne
Smith
Head
Green
Carey
Starc
Hazlewood
Boland
Lyon
With Marnus back making shield runs, think they’ll just want to solidify the middle order which has been their strength for years and hope that the openers can contribute.
surely we cant drop Webster, has been one of the consistent performers last summer.I think the top 11 will actually end up being

Webster has missed the last 2 Shield games with an ankle injury but the selectors have told him to take the time he needs to overcome his injury.surely we cant drop Webster, has been one of the consistent performers last summer.
He was great in the SCG test but don’t think he’s as good a batter, bowler or fielder as Green.surely we cant drop Webster, has been one of the consistent performers last summer.
I think Greens potential is higher but what he’s actually delivering has been way lower that BeauHe was great in the SCG test but don’t think he’s as good a batter, bowler or fielder as Green.
He batted at 3 in the West Indies and marginally outscored him. They both average the exact same in Test cricket. Green (given his had more opportunities) has certainly played many more important test knocks. Green is an absolute freak and a must have in the side really imo.I think Greens potential is higher but what he’s actually delivering has been way lower that Beau
But he didn’t bowl at all, BW was good with the ball, saved us a test with his batting against India. Until Green is fit and outplaying Beau I wouldn’t be picking him before BW is my opinion and he certainly isn’t a top order batter. His hand are heavy and always playing out in front of his pad. Good bowlers have him worked out early with a new ball.He batted at 3 in the West Indies and marginally outscored him. They both average the exact same in Test cricket. Respect it mate. I’ve got Green ahead of him as a cricketer but certainly he’s proven his worthy of his place in a Test XIBut he didn’t bowl at all, BW was good with the ball, saved us a test with his batting against India.
