I’m looking to some intensive cricket therapy this Summer to distract myself from a demoralising season by a certain rugby league team and the distinct possibility of another woeful season next year.

Had a autograph from Bob S when I was young, 60+ years ago, that my Mum got for me when he was doing deliveries to the shop/canteen she worked at in RAAF base Richmond, sadly don’t know where it ended up.
I was a Bobby Simpson fan due mainly to his cricket but partly his Scottish heritage. Great batsman but even greater slip fieldsman, the best.
Sad to hear of his passing, rest in peace

Id go the other way and have no bi-lateral t20s , have test nations play WC qualifiers only (we would never have to play them) and world cups. Thats how you free up the schedule for test playing nations, associate nations obviously should be playing all white ball forms.
Crickets a very individual sport and our t20 players are getting their reps in with franchise cricket, and theres already to much of that.
ODIs in Australia have been out of sight and mind behind paywalls for a few years now and its probably the major reason for the drop off in interest and crowds.
 
Cummins would definitely be a bigger miss than Overton. I read something yesterday that said Cummins would be fit by November though.
 
Cummins would be a big loss but we’ve got some quality quicks who can do the job. The New Years Test is already sold for the 1st 3 days which sucks because I’m off work that week and was gonna go. Too late though.
 
England have announced their ashes squad. Brook has been named as vice-captain.

Stokes, Wood, Bashir and new backup spinner, Will Jacks all need to prove their fitness.

11 of the squad have never played at test in Australia.
