Because the World Test Championship match in June is an ICC event, it will be shown exclusively on the Disney Channel which starts at $13.99 per month.
 
Also very suprised fox havnt come to the party for the sri lanka series? First time in 30 years an away test hasnt been shown on fox i think, pretty ordinary if you ask me. On a positive note its the first time a non ashes away series has been live and free since 1997, it makes sense for channel 7 to jump on it off the back of the last series and the great timeslot for viewership. 330pm aest start time.

I’m very happy Foxtel has been sold to DAZN. I was not comfortable paying a subscription each month to a Murdoch owned company.

Im pretty unimpressed they arent doing this series, hoping its not a sign of things to come. I bought amazon prime when they got the icc rights and was pretty impressed with their coverage of cricket so far.

It would be much better for cricket watchers if one network televised all the cricket.
 
Similar issues to the issues over there tbh. Apart from a highlights package for Tests everything is on paid for TV. The packages have shifted around but from memory some England games are on TNT Sports (was BT Sports but they shares to Warners and Discovery) and some are on Sky Sports (used to be owned by Murdoch but he sold out to Comcast a few years ago).

I yearn for the golden days when all cricket was on the BBC and this was the theme tune. Did this song travel or is it specific to the UK?
 
I remember the BBC theme tune well! Decades ago our ABC (Australian Broadcasting Commission) used to broadcast the BBC coverage when the Ashes were played in England.
 
A very impressive performance by the Australian women to win in Ashes by winning 4 successive games.

Australia have some very talented players who are excellent to watch.
