2023 Harvey Norman Women's NSW cup

[Billy]

12 - 12 - big comeback for the Knights with 15 minutes to go

edit - spoke too soon - down 12 - 16 now.

[Billy]

lost 16 - 12 but a good hitout for some young players no doubt

[BTP]

Shanice Parker playing today. Great that she’s still playing for us again. She was so impressive last year. Playing FB

Moran 7 with a few juniors given a run like Chester and Luschwitz at 9.

Johnson, Clydesdale and Higgins rested.

[mullenmagic]

Won 22-20 off a last minute try to Tylah Vallance

There's normally mass changes an hour before every game anyway but this is the side named so far. Playing the top of the table Roosters at 7pm Monday night, and will be live streamed on NSWRL website.

[BTP]

Roosters named basically NRLW level squad too, Knights have done the same. Both teams ready to **** **** up that night!! BRING IT!!!!

(No injuries Newi)

[mullenmagic]

Our prop Jacinta Carter is a Brisbane girl who was in the Broncos system and came off the bench for QLD in the u/19 Origin last year. Would say she’s staying for NRLW if she’s already relocated down here. Haven’t seen her play but she looks a similar build to Predebon.

Mercydes Metcalf was my pick of our props last year in Tarsha Gale Cup but she’s gone to Cronulla.

Great effort from Parker.

Southwell already barking orders and taking control of the team.

[Billy]

4-0 Shanice Parker gets our first.
Jesse Southwell is putting on a master class

[mullenmagic]

Predebon & Carter are making a big impact through the middle.

[Billy]

8-0 Predebon from 2 out

[mullenmagic]

Millie gets absolutely smashed by Predebon on her first run

[Billy]

Boyle got smashed by Predebon on her first run.
That's a statement.

[mullenmagic]

Kyra Simon put Millie on her *** too, but then gives away a soft try a few plays later

[Billy]

10-6

[Billy]

down 10-16 at halftime.
As soon as they took off Higgins, Predebon and Carter, we forgot how to tackle.

[mullenmagic]

Too many silly errors and the defence nowhere near good enough to cover for it. First time seeing Chester play a full game and not giving me much confidence if she's the plan to replace Teitzel.
