2022 season

Just hit ignore, he knows it's a dumb take and that it was Penrith reserve grade he said it in jest and just wants to wind you up. Stop replying and he'll go away

I think Penrith do have a few problems though … I wouldn’t have rested players if I was them with Nathan Cleary also returning next week. Mainly because if they then win next week, they’ll reach the grand final qualifier with one game together in like a month. I’d want as many players together and in match form as possible at this time of year.

Really think 5-8 have a decent chance this year.

I don't think "resting" is a good description of what they would be doing.
I suspect Cleary is flogging them on the training field to get them as fit as he can without injuring anyone, and will give them a few days to "rest" before their next game.
The other teams are picking up injuries and having to go through recovery sessions and getting a day or two of training, while Penrith have their full squad doing a solid week or 10 days of training.

Penrith will be fine. They might get a test next week but I think they’ll win all three finals games they play fairly comfortably.

Taulagi tied up until 2026 now.

Payten/Luck going about their business. 3 top 17 players locked up long term in the space of a couple weeks before they hit the open market on November 1st.

Who are the important guys still not locked up yet? Robson, Nanai and Hammer?

Correct, not worries with Nanai as he ain’t going anywhere.

Redcliffe might be a threat for the Hammer and Dragons sound like they want to get their junior back in Robson. Them 2 could get squeezed out.
