If we looked at Sims, I’d hand my membership in….not only did he phone it in for us when he played here but he also made it obvious to the supporters after the game that he didn’t give a **** by laughing and joking with the opposition out on the field straight after the game…

And then to really rub it in, he made sure he played to his absolute best when he came back up against the Knights and would go out of his way to stick it to the Knights supporters at every opportunity.

I don’t generally hate anybody…BUT I hate him with a passion and wouldn’t give him the steam off my p!$$ on a cold night to keep him warm

Jock Madden is being shopped around, but he is pretty much the same as Adam Clune, just 5 years younger, so we don't need two of them.

Tariq mailed it in for us as bad as Darius imo. We can make do with our props I reckon, no need for George. We need a strike edge backrower - just not a Sims.

No need for George... For rd1 we have 1 prop on the bench and he has no nrl games up his sleeve i like Barny but he isn't a prop Momo is playing 2nd row . If fit we could use George right now .

Mate of mine who works at the nrl is mates with dragons staff. Predicted about a month ago that tariq won't make the squad based on him being past it.
Would rather be testing between fitz, barney, jirah, Jones and Thompson for the starting spot. Surely one of them would stand out

Club is still looking for a high class edge forward, tried to sign Luki, looking at that pom kid too.
Obviously don't think the answer is already at the club, and Friz won't be around forever either.

Friz is similar to KP in that he has an option for next year that he hasn't taken up yet. All the reporting is around KP for some reason though...

Fitz has an option for 2023 too, maybe banking on a having a big year and generating more interest than the last time he tested his value.

100% I think he would be suited way more for the middle. His latteral movement isn't what it was. His aggression upfront would be great to.

I honestly think he’d excel in the front row he’s as hard as they come and can throw abit of weight around.

If we are going for the ball playing lock it’s a no brainer to give him a go upfront.

KNIGHTS FUMING AFTER MISSING OUT ON YOUNG GUN

THE Newcastle Knights were left fuming after missing out on young gun North Queensland backrower Heilum Luki.

Luki, 20, is regarded by good judges as one of the best emerging backrowers in the game and the Knights were given the impression they were a strong chance to land his signature.

It was a similar story with Brisbane Broncos centre Kotoni Staggs last year when Newcastle genuinely believed they were in the box seat to the point the Knights had a media release drafted about the announcement only for the outstanding centre to have a last-minute change of heart.

The Knights weren’t the only club chasing Luki before he re-committed to the Cowboys on a three-year extension until the end of 2025.

Everyone must know by now what a snake Isaac Moses is, but for some reason clubs think he’s not gonna bite them specifically lol.

It’s sad that even though he has such a bad name when it comes to using teams to leverage their price etc players will still ask for his services as he gets them results.
Hopefully this was a line in the sand and we don’t deal with that weasel any longer
