I've been pondering this since I read it and it got me genuinely excited. If he is up to it defensively, I think it might be his perfect position. His running game is obviously his strength, any skills he has picked up as a 5/8 would be bonus. Seeing his speed across the ground though, I think he would be a David Fifita style second rower.

He obviously provides good insights into the team but Barry Toohey is a Knights cheerleader, he very rarely has a negative thing to say about the club or players.
That is harsh criticism coming from him.
 
Mann won't have a lot to do in the game.
Pearce has looked very fit and nimble in the trials, but he's hardly got involved in the playmaking, and Ponga showed towards the end of the Moari game that he can't stay out of the line, so when we actually play a game, Mann will be lucky if he ever sees the ball. We might all be lucky if he never sees it too.
 
More signing news this afternoon apparently.
I suppose it could be Frizzel for 2021 or an extention for Ponga, but it will probably be a development contract for Chris Randall.
 
Funnily, seconds before they posted that I was looking in the contract thread they put up 2 hours ago And saw Tuala moved from new signing to extended, so it's been there for 2 hours and I didn't think to look.
 
Well they just added Chris Randall's profile to the firstgrade list as well.

Same as Roberts-Davis last week.

I'm a fan of Tuala, but seems like an odd signing. I thought they would wait until at least seeing how he goes in regular season, but I suspect they want to take him off the market with Roosters and Storm looking for centres.
 
Have to imagine Moga's days here are numbered, if we've got Best, Shibs and Tuala all locked up for next year and Moga off contract after this year.
