2020 Pre Season and Trial Games

Moga was due to return for the saints trial but they decided to rest him as a precaution because Best is out, so they want Moga fit for round 1.
 
Minor hamstring strain for Moga I think Toohey said. Better to keep them fit for round one than risk them. I still think we’ll get something out of Moga this year but I doubt we’ll re-sign him with his history.
 
I suspect Moga wasn't keen to play trials with any hint of injury either.
He never seemed keen on reserve grade.
I'd say he would be telling the coaching staff that he is ready to play for his future in round 1 if fully fit and wants to give it his best shot.
 
If he does give it his best shot and stays fit were laughing he is a beast when fit and playing well and with Best Hunt and Lee who were all playing well, that's a good back line.
 
Saints have put up reserve grade and Flegg sides on their website. Nothing from us, which is frustrating.

Hope Tuala gets a run, both in the trials and regular season. I think he could be outstanding during the season for us, although IMO he'd likely only get a start if Lee or Best are injured or out.
 
I suppose you can't drop Lee or Hunt, but I want to see To'a get his chance. He's ready, and he's something special. You might even call him a Star.

A Star who is as fast as a Ford maybe? I don't mind some of these young guys getting left out early, our depth looks at its best in years.
