2020 Pre Season and Trial Games

I thought we were buying too many centres, but it's not even round 1 and Sione is looking at centre again.
 
Tex Hoy will be playing fullback in this game you'd think, but it might be worth using Matt Cooper at fullback and give Tex time at wing and centre, because that is where he could actually break into firstgrade.

People believed the garbage that was coming out of Kent and Hooper (who I’m guessing is the source for the new BS rumour) last year when we were at our lowest. There’s plenty of morons out there who’ll believe this.

Generally speaking I think fans are smartening up.
And blokes like Hooper and Kent are getting dumber.
Well Kent has been for ages since he got on television and it inflated his ego.
 
Newspaper guys have to do anything to sell copy these days. It's an industry in it's death throws and those guys have to make a living.
They probably don't like making something up if they have nothing, but they have to turn something out every day.
 
I see in the preview that Soper-Lawlor scored 52 tries in 67 games in the Qld cup. I remember he played year of Flegg for us and was our top tryscorer, and the reason he got a year of Flegg is because he was top try scorer in the real NRL the year before. Last year he was top try scorer in the Qld cup.
In Flegg he was a tall, skinny kid who wasn't strong enough to tackle big guys, but the other day we saw him stop Ferguson one on one and then put a decent shot of Ferguson but not stop him. Most NRL wingers would be happy with that effort.
I can't see why we wouldn't want him.

They would kill puppies to get a scoop, so no they don’t get empathy or sympathy from me. Screw em
