2020 Pre Season and Trial Games

Pretty sure Toohey mentioned it in his last Saturday article. Probably has the edge over MSL that he can play more positions, but I doubt he'll ever see first grade for us here (at least, he shouldn't).
 
Seems a silly signing if happens, someone like Randall that covers hooker as well as plays 6 & 7. I know Watson can cover hooker but we are a bit thin otherwise.
Thought Roberts-Davis was very ordinary for someone playing for a contract, he better not put his tools away yet.
 
It's possible they have only given him a development contract and we still need to fill 2 of 3 spots before round 1.

Why bother. Much better younger talent out there. Seems a waste to me. TRD can play more positions? Which ones? All he played I would have done better and I haven't played for 10 years.
 
Roberts-Davis was garbage in both the 9’s and trial. Soper-Lawler is so much better. We are in big trouble if he’s anywhere near first grade.

Article about Mitch Barnett now being a lock.
says Mitch still likes second row because he has always seen himself there, but the new coach wants to use his aggression and offloading in the middle. Also mentions "home truths" from the new coach when discussing second row, without saying what the "home truths" were. I'd say the coach told him he isn't athletic and agile enough for second row, but maybe that's just what I think.
 
I wrote after the nines that Roberts- Davies had played himself out of a contract guess that shows what I know .
 
The Knights site has put up a new list of signings that doesn't show Roberts-Davis, but they still have his profile up in the firstgrade list - so I don't know what to make of that.
 
Knights are saying there will be a signing announcement at 8pm tonight.
The clues are a racecar, an aboriginal flag and a 3 word name starting with Ty.
Could be anyone.

Anyway, It's TRD, and it's an epic fail if they are trumpeting this signing over facebook lol. The guys done nothing to show he deserves any heralding.
