    6-6
Mitchell Black fired out a flat pass to his prop who scored under the posts.

    18-6 to Qld.
I think Black has gone off he field. He was very impressive - probably NSW best for the first half.
Best is going well too. He usually seems to do very little in rep games, but is getting very involved now.

Qld handled Best well, but he was getting in position for runs time after time.
The bench hooker for NSW was not nearly as good as Black IMO.

It's funny how these junior rep games always seem to go the same way - Qld come out hard and fast and get out to an early lead, and NSW run them down in the second half with extra fitness and a more organised structure.
18-6 to Qld at halftime is not unusual. I still think we will run them down.

Best has saved a few tries as NSW are opening up, but he gave up chasing that one, after running down 2 or 3 breaks already since halftime.

Best looks like he could be a big damaging centre in firsts in a year or 2. He is massive and fast. I assume he would eventually move into the forwards with his size.

Black looks really good. Could he be the long term answer to Brown's quest of hookers?

    34-12 win to Qld.
I was happy enough with Best and Black.
Best did a lot more work than I thought he was capable of, but the Qld defence did a great job on him. He needed 3 defenders to stop him, but they got him every time.
Black was very good at dummy half. NSW would have been better to leave him on for the full game.

Bit of a weird feeling to watch Ponga play for Qld and hope he does well, but not well enough to get them home.

Geez Ponga looks exhausted. Taken some big hits, but I think he's gone too hard too early. Hopefully he gets it back in the second half.

He looks very lethargic imo, its like his out of his depth a bit atm.

Klemmer played the whole first 40.
When was the last time a prop played a whole first half in SOO?
Hopefully NSW get a early try in the second half and freddy gives Klem a early mark.

Klemmers been insane, 130m in the first half, leading the NSW tackle count on 25. Doesn't look like slowing down.

Yeah he looks buggered he was in dummy half a far bit that first half. Hope he is just exhausted and is not injured.
