I think our halves were good. Fermor was good at the end and JSaf and Momoesia (spelt wrong, sorry) were running pretty well.

Our bench was pretty average today...

Jones is clearly playing with an injury. I saw him playing for Cessnock last week and he could barely run. Today he wasn,t much better.

Yeah I thought JSaf and Jirah both looked strong.

The best of this lot in variance moments that lacked overall performance were JSaf, Randall, Fermor, Stone, Crosslands, Lino and Hoy, the rest had moments but more down than up. We had our chances but failed to convert.

I thought Moga carried the ball really strongly coming out of trouble. Not doing enough to replace hunt or ramien still a handy back up.

The linebreak by Cooper was pretty impressive.
His ability to beat defenders with his step is a pretty useful asset.
I think that was his 9th linebreak and he is our leading try scorer.
He has a Uate like ability to step and accelerate in the blink of an eye. Pity he doesn't have the size, power and speed of Uate.

    Saulo is in for Alifa
    Searle is in for Lino.

I called both of them a few days ago - must get that crystal ball out more often.

Saulo is starting, Momoisea drops to the bench and Alifa is out.
Searle was left out of under 20s when they named the team, so they were probably always planning to replace Lino.
Searle came to us from playing in a seniors team in the central west last year and he is a big guy and a solid defender for a half, so he'll probably go OK against seniors I think.

12-0 to souths - all their points have come from Moga giving away penalties.
