when I first saw Sam Stone play the first name that came to mind was Steve Simpson ( I reckon I'm not the only one who thought that either ). If he can turn out half as good he will be a great player for years to come ......

As for Tolman I'd sign him in a heart beat, he's about as good as we will get and his stats are really good. People expect / want their front rowers to be like Fifita or Bromwich but in the end of the day Tolman plays big minutes and does a heap of work plus he'd definitely show the young guys how it's done on the training paddock and in game day ......

We're 10's on to win a hat trick of spoons. I'll get excited when we sign a potential match winner not a workhorse that never busts a tackle and never offloads. Not saying he's ordinary just doesn't excite me. Graham with some mongrel and skill well that would be a different story.

Would Tolman be the best forward in our team?

The saying beggars can't be choosers is very apt for us.

I would be happy with a replacement half, and some genuine workhorses in the forwards. If we could get that, and even just one genuine forward with mongrel we'd be going a hell of a lot better.

I think our young team would appreciate anything to be honest. If you were to offer them Tolan I'm sure they'd be more than happy.

If we now waste all the salary cap space we worked so hard to get on a bunch of over the hill nobodies on big wages - it was all for nothing.

Keep going the way we are going with the current team we have and al that salary cap will be for nothing anyways because no1 would dare sign with us. Need to build a competitive team first and foremost.

Agreed I'd be happy to sign Eastwood but I reckon he'd be wanting more than we should pay. Tolman I don't think would be on huge money. Are they off contract or is there a possibility of Dogs paying some of it?

We need some sort of light at the end of the tunnel. Why hasn't any off these big signings been sorted yet with Roosters etc

Dillon saying Knights deny approaching Tolman and Eastwood. Pretty much everyone has given Brown a free pass for 16/17 but 2018 is when the win grin returns. Brown and/or the Clubs inability to attract quality must be a worry to someone.

Barnett at 55m a game aint gonna win us ship.

Hope he comes back firing cause ive been highly disappointed the past 5wks

I can't believe you don't see what I mean. Barnett with a dash of unpredictability is capable of turning a match. I don't care if the stats say he only ran 22ms in a game if he kicked ahead, regathered and offloaded to set up the winning try. Yes Tolman is solid but if he's our best signing come round 1 next year we're in trouble. 1 thing Tolman would probably help with is the 25 and a bit points per game we're conceding at this point in time. We're a gazillion miles away from being any kind of threat.
