2017/2018 Knights Player signing speculation

He was starting hooker yesterday for the first time against senior opposition, and one prop in particular made a lot of metres by pushing him backwards.
I think he'll need to find another 10kg at least before he can move beyond reserve grade.
He has another year of NYC if he requires it.
But if he puts 10kg on does that take away his speed and footwork? Don't want to ruin a blokes game by putting weight on him like weve done with barnett

I'm thinking about strapping the boots on again next year if they want to call me for prop. I'm not the fittest or the best trainer, not even fast, but sit a schooner & a rib on the bone on each try line & see me work. I'll make more meters than 3 starlings (still without breaking the hundred) trying to get to one beer & feed & tackle any bastard that looks like taking the other off me.
I couldn't make the team any worse

One player that we could get and is worth a punt is Jayden Nikorima from the Roosters.
Many scouts believed he was the best of the brothers and he won't cost much at all.
I know you read my posts Browny.
Make it happen.

The reason he's leaving Melbourne is to go to Sydney. He won't come here if he can go to a Bulldogs/Tigers/Souths etc.

It's getting close to the point where we almost shouldn't bother signing a half. If our options are guys like Josh Reynolds, Frawley, Mbye, then maybe we should just run with Cogger, Phythian or god forbid, @Ethan will love this, Ponga in the halves.

browny is a big fan of phythian i would be suprised if his not in our 17 next year, i wouldnt mind seeing him get a crack at the 7 jersey....he has a kicking game and can defend so imo that puts him ahead of hokko and feeney already.

Phythian has definitely played more halfback than fullback.

I'm hearing Cogger is progressing well and might be back a few weeks earlier than round 14.

This is all true, though are we that dumb to replace one half thats injury prone with another injury prone player??

Sorry its the knights its a given.

If Browny sees Lamb as one of our long term halves, then we need a half that has some sort of running game that has the ability to break the line.
Look I'm not the biggest Reynolds fan but at least he takes the line on and has the ability to break the line.

Buzz just posted on twitter that we will get Tolman ....

That was the first one i thought of when a friend said we will sign a big name prop from sydney by mid season..
Then the rumors of graham started and i thought it must be Graham.
Id still be happy with Tolman though.
Guy does a lot of work

Wonder what jeff Robson is doing atm,
I know his average, but does direct well and has a good kicking game.
Be worth it for the rest of this yr imo.
