I wouldn't imagine Trent would be wanting out simply because there's probably no interest in him.
Poor bugger, I agree with 88, he does cop a fair bit of unfair criticism... but that's only fair though, with Aku & Gids gone you guys need someone to be the new whipping boy

The number 7 at the Knights always cops it.
I always thought Mullo played most of his career at first receiver, but quite sensibly made Roberts and Gidley wear the 7 while playing second receiver.

there always going to cop until we get another one as good as joey

Oh you hodkinson sympathisers have to be kidding.

He isn't copping anything unfairly!

He goes along in games doing practically nothing. When commented on his lack of kicking game, I'm told "it's his knees". When called on doing nothing in attack it's "he does a lot behind the play organising"!

Gimme a break. The guy isn't cutting it. No team needs a half that creates nothing, doesn't kick but is good behind the play organising the attack. Which mind you last season was the worst in the NRL and probably our entire history. So far this season it is improved, but not from Hodkinsons organising behind the scenes. We can thank Lamb and our imports that have kicked on for that.

So if we get Bird (I doubt it) we need to kick Hodkinson to the curb, and play Lamb at 7, bird at 6, Ponga at 1, Levi and Kosty sharing hooking. Just need one decent prop to really have something.

I hate when people say that about the half copping it because they are not Joey but that's rubbish imo ...Hodko hasn't played to the standard he was at and that knee is a lot worse than he or they are telling ...So that's why I think Hodko will go and it has nothing to do with not being Joey .

Toohey was saying on twitter that Lamb would play in reserves next or of we got Bird then come into halves in 2019. That would suggest Hodko gone

Possibly Brown and Hodko know we need more from a 7.

He's probably just playing on until we get a replacement. Then he will retire early and have an off field job with the Knights.

At the moment he may be just being used for his experience.

No good having two rookie halves at the same time.

Vaughan. and to a lesser extent Packer, have been playing brilliantly at the Dragons and is the principle reason they are in second place. They dominate opposition packs and Woods could not hold a candle to nthem Sunday.

Mind you, the dog eaten looks of dejection on the Tigs' faces and their general negative demeanour is going to give Ivan a lot of work. Many will be moved on as their heads have got too big with the media chasing and quoting the players and the Board listening to them.

Vaughn and De Bellin are the best two middle forwards at the Saints, but Packer is going well and on current form would be the best forward at the Knights.

Dan Saifiti and Buhrer are our top metre gainers at 94m per game. Need reinforcements ASAP.

If we can get our forwards sorted Hodko will be okay. As I said before Joey would have trouble making metres behind our crop of kids and retirees.

Not his job to make metres. It's his job to capitalise once the forwards (and the halves kicking game) puts us in to a good attacking position. He can't do that, hasn't done that and seemingly is incapable of doing that.

He's good at passing to the next person in line though.

Would like to keep Bird at the Sharks but not for the money being mentioned in the media. He is not a 5/8....zero kicking game and poor passing game.

Ideally he'd bulk up a bit and play lock/second row in a year or two.

If he accepts your offer then good luck to him, certainly no hard feelings. I just hope we don't match it, silly money for a very average 5/8 imo.
