Yeah because google has an extensive list of every communication between every Rugby League player and every NRL club.

You have no idea whether or not he has been approached or offered a deal by another club.

No, but the media is constantly publishing rumoured approaches and contract offerings and in a 12 year career the only example of another club showing interest in Mullen that I can find is Cronulla. Link for reference.

If I don't think a players much chop I'll say so, doesn't mean I don't admire them for repping the red and blue though!

I should have said.... IMO.... Mullen would have got the same money anywhere else but to be honest no one knows how many offers Mullen has had but Mullen and his Manager ...Telling people to prove that he has had offers is ok but you should have to prove he hasn't had offers too.

I have no problem with you having an opinion as is your right but you can convey that opinion without aggression and insults

Fair enough. I can appreciate your position but I still think he is getting paid overs at the Knights. We certainly have a long history of doing that.

Again I don't question Mullen's talent. I do think when that sublime talent is on display he is one of the best in the game. Unfortunately the occasions that talent actually appears if few and far between.

I hope we get a 2014 Mullen this year. It'd be wonderful. But I think it is far more likely we get the Jarrod Mullen that's shown up every other year of his, what, 12 years?

As far as Mullen being overpaid maybe he is but he is on par with the best play makers at other clubs and he has the same talent but just hasn't been great for us the last few years . Ask James I'm a detractor of Mullens because he just doesn't Oh I don't know ....He has all this talent but he doesn't use it enough ...
But people are right this is the first year that he doesn't have to run the whole team. He just has to use his strengths , tearing teams apart with his running , kicking and passing games and I'm looking forward to it ...In fact I'm really looking forward to it ...

I want to see Mullen square off against Roberts. I suspect he has some points to make.
 
How much is Mullen being paid? My understanding is, our highest paid player is on (just over) half of the highest paid player in the game.
 
I think he's on 550k per year which is less than Hodkinson and Gagai. So it's pretty good value imo.

Media reported Hodkinson got 600k a season from the Knights. Bulldogs offered 500k a season. Titans 800k a season.

Media also reported 600k a season for Gagai.

If true that's nearly 25% of the salary cap on 3 players.
