2016 Marathon Stadium Draft Premiership

Haha I know the one you're talking about. The last one is going up now, should be done in an hour or two :)

I couldn't believe it watching it live haha it had a genuine grand final feel about it

Some funny glitches in it though and I'm annoyed because it froze in the end so the winner didn't get to lift up the trophy

Apologies also for the numbers on the jerseys and the commentators calling them the Rabbitohs sometimes but they were after thoughts and it was too late to change them

Next year I'll have better idea how it all works and it'll be alot better and more interactive. Coaches can choose their own identities, jerseys, change and mix up your teams and tactics during seasons etc. Congrats to the two grand finalists and also the grand winner!! Amazing game and you'll be properly awarded at the Draft Awards! :)

What a game, just finished watching then! My team became a bit of the comeback kings this finals series, thought it was over yet again at 24-10. Couple of hair pulling out missed chances there though, one of my guys caught a bomb & placed it down just before the try-line, only for the Rocks to grab it & run away for a 100m try, then as we started to build pressure we came up with some bad kicks or gave penalties away, JWH got sin binned. A few costly errors by the Rocks too with JT throwing the ball over the sideline & a knock on in the 78th minute which gave my boys the field position to score, couldn't believe it when Foran raced away from the scrum to score a try that would level the game up only to be taken down just before the line! It was pretty nervous moments too once I had the lead & saw my boys start to throw the ball around in the last few seconds screaming at the screen to hold on to the ball & just run 1 out. Honestly really shocked, my team was very successful at the beginning of the season only to start dropping plenty of games, to come back & gain form just as the games start becoming knock out is crazy. Maybe my boys are lazy & only want to play when it means something. Great, close game, congrats @josh2010 on getting here with me, we both had to do it the hard way & I think you need to give Brett Stewart some extra laps around the park for celebrating with my team when the game was over haha.

That Mateo try would have to go down as the funniest I've seen  can not believe I lost that. Lead the whole game just about only to lose it in the dying minutes :(

I thought the Rocks had it for sure but just like the Fijians game against the Hayne Planes they pulled it out of the bag in the dying minutes! Rocks almost had a chance to go over when they caught the high kick close to the line but the Fijians somehow wrapped him up, I thought that was a big moment in the game. That try saver on Foran was epic and I couldn't believe the Fijians player done all the hard work to outjump everyone but he comes down and puts the ball down on the wrong side of the try line and Mateo picks it up for a 100 metre try  I thought that was it then and especially when JWH got sin binned but the Rocks unfortunate error coming out of their end gave the Fijians their shot and they took it. Congrats to both, great finish to the inaugural sim season!

Yeah I thought I had it won when they got a sin bin with 7 or 8 minutes to go. But nope. We had to choke. Was an awesome game to watch tho. Congrats to Joshhh on the win! And look forward to another round next year!!
