He has been tipped to leave the Storm and sign with the Roosters, Knights, Titans or Dragons. This is from the RLW Mole.

I find it hard to believe that we are trying to sign him, but it would be awesome. Imagine 1. Boyd 6. Mullen 7. Cronk 9. Gidley

Their hot tip is to name a quarter of the sides in the comp. They're just trying to give themselves the best chance tomorrow of saying they had an exclusive ... with that many options, it's obvious they have no idea.
 
If he leaves the Storm I reckon either Souths or the Dragons but Hornby stands in his way at Saints and there not the team to just sack a captain maybe he may retire.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Cronk is off to Belmore next year. (Just going off some unsubstantiated rumor's I've heard that they're in negotiations with a couple of very high profile players and about to make some announcements re same.)
 
Money is on the Dragons with Hornby close to retirement.

But I think the only real reason he would leave is homesick so Titans are favourites there even if in debt.

If we get rid of a few we would have enough coin for him but he's not worth 800k IMO

I definitely think he is leaving though. If it was good news they'd announce it without 'not commenting any further'

Would be s huge loss for Melbourne.

I laughed they mention the Roosters especially with Maloney and Pearce there next year!
 
Lewis Brown is a good signing panzers...3, 4, 13, 12, 11 perhaps 9...wonderful versatility and an international to boot...
I hope we are in the running to sign Cronk...I like him and we need a 7...can't win the title without a good 7...
 
If he goes, my bet is Dragons.

Ok, so we've really nailed it down, he's either staying at Melbourne, or going to Manly, Souths, Roosters, Dragons, Bulldogs, Knights or Titans..... :P
