Okay, that's not bad! Hopefully I can get one in a few years.

I phoned up the Knights yesterday morning (WA time) and asked them what the go is for those of us who find that Turton Road is not exactly on the way home from work (!). I was told the smaller items will be posted to us before Christmas along with a token of sorts. You send the token back with the cost of postage, and then they'll send the rest of the gear out (the larger items). Should all be sent out, I'd imagine, in a matter of weeks.

Really? I'd have expected the cost of postage to have been included in the membership fee, since nobody will be able to pick it up.

So how come Deano got his ... hmm.

I got mine sent in a white package. Had my hat and little pack with key ring, stickers and all. Plus membership card (which now needs to be changed to a ticketed)

Hmm, this is getting confusing. Do out of towers in Sydney and Brisbane get their stuff sent to them, but anyone further afield have to pay postage? Bloody typical if so! haha

Well I arrived home today and my membership pack was there, cap etc included. So I think they must have misinformed you, Nuke!

I'm glad to hear it, JamesGould. Still, when I phoned up, I was answered with "Good afternoon. Newcastle Jets...". Not 'Hunter Sports Superstore' as I was expecting. Perhaps the Jets' membership situation is slightly different to the Knights'.

That might be something to do with it, they seem a tad confused. Some packages I think you get a scarf etc which is what you need to pick up, but that's not included in the out of town membership ... so maybe they were getting confused with that, as well.

I think this is poor, look at what clubs like the roosters are offering, for $10 more than what we pay their out of towners get 4 general admin tickets to any home game (not finals) plus all the stuff we get plus they get a food cooler & water bottle & a stubby holder.

My dad (roosters supporter) sent an email to the roosters saying he wouldn't renew until all the clubs signed on for next year, 20 mins later the roosters CEO rings him personally and talked to him for 10 mins lol.

Picked up my 2012 cap and scarf from the Superstore tonight, cap fits perfectly, and scarf looks nice.

I got my pack today. Dad's came on Saturday. Looks good ... except both had Dad's name on them and my membership number!
The Knights got another phonecall today..! All sorted now though. Apparently when I signed him up, I hadn't logged out completely and it confused their computers!
The hat is similar to one I bought several years ago (except with a lighter blue). That's my favourite hat, so I'm not upset! The keyring looks fantastic too.

Sitting on 12,261 ticketed members now. With two months to go ... I think we may fall just short of 20,000.

Those numbers havent been updated for about a fortnight so surely we've hit at least 13000 by now. Were we aiming for 20k BEFORE the season starts? Because I think we'll get a heap of new members when we win our first few games. Im confident we'll even exceed the 20.
