It makes sense for sure. Actually, it would probably even make sense for me, considering I'm likely to have nothing better to do than come over for a game or two at some stage next year.

I was actually looking at the caps earlier today on the Knights website thinking I should buy a new one ... forgot I had one coming with the membership! :lol:
 
I've never been a member before so wasn't sure, haven't bought a knights cap in ages either so didn't know their prices. Probably end up getting that membership, possibly for christmas.

Well I do agree it's not the best value for money (in fact I think there's some junior membership where you pay less but get all the cap etc, plus tickets to games!) ... but yeah, personally I think it's great - a big improvement and I'm happy to pay.

For those who just want to stay a member (perhaps to maintain their voting rights) it might be a unimprovement.

But in saying that, earlier this year when we had a big thread on it, I think almost 100% wanted to get something for the membership, even if it meant paying more.

I've never been a member before either. I wonder when the pack will show up ...
 
I signed up for a ticketed membership with my girlfriend, first time ever but I couldn't resist being a part of the new era, even though I'll only be attending less than half the games lol and it's to support the club so I'm happy
 
1 thing I do worry about is that with all these memberships out at cheap prices I hope some fans dont miss many. Would hate to see a sellout crowd & only have 25,000 turn up.
 
I was hoping to have my membership pack turn up in time for this weekend (my family are having our Christmas tomorrow as one family member is going to be away for the real one). Not specifically for my benefit, but I signed Dad up to be a member and I'm giving it to him for Chrissy ... Newcastle Knights / AustraliaPost have approximately 10hrs to get it to me in time!!!

No matter. I've made up a dummy membership card for him to be substituted for the real one when it comes in. Probably Monday knowing my luck..!
 
I don't think they'll send out the membership packs before the new year.

I got my Knight's keyring, lanyard, sticker sheet, season fixture magnet and a coupon to pick up the membership cap during the first three home games at Ausgrid Stadium in the mail today. According to the letter supplied, the membership cards are being sent out in early February.
 
I got my pack yesterday. Now i feel like a real member! Go the Knights

Anyone else getting the cap with their last name embroidered on the front?

Guess thats only for us guys from the "Knights" family :)
 
I hope I don't get a coupon to collect my members hat ... I live 4,000km away from Turton Road!
I imagine the out-of-town members will get everything sent in a pack.
 
Surely they are posting it out to the out-of-towners! Since the whole point of those memberships is we can't get to Newcastle ...
 
I'm surprised they're sending out the bits and pieces out now...but hey, more power to them.

I am impressed with how HSG has handled memberships with both clubs. Would've loved a discount for being member of both, maybe that's for 2012-13 A-League and 2013 NRL, eh?
