The Panthers are looking good against Brisbane. So far they are leading 10 - 6 just into the second half.

Cronulla were pretty hard done by in that game. Not saying they would have/deserved to win but Gallen clearly scored a try which would have left the gap at 2 points with 10 to go but the refs missed it completely.
 
Have to admit that Tigers game was quite boring for a while, would have been amazing at the end there. I think the crowd played a part in their win there.
 
Tigers game would of sucked until the last 15, i turned it on and it was just as Canberra were taking the penalty goal. Only 6 - 6 for about 60 mins and apparently Tigers scored in the 2nd minute pretty crappy game it sounds.

And on NRL.com Sharks had come out and said they would capatilise on Dragons situation whatever situation they had but easy to tell as if they would have won, honestly.
 
I have only got 4/6 this week so far. Damn you South Sydney and Brisbane!!!
How good was the atmosphere at Leichardt Oval this afternoon? Newcastle haven't had an atmosphere that good since Round 26 last year against Penrith.

Absolutely, that was a cracker of a game I thought! Dunno why people are criticising it (particularly those who didn't see it). Nice and close, plenty of attacking rugby league, and the score would have been way higher, but the final pass just never seemed to stick.

It was a contest the whole game and both teams were throwing everything at eachother. Most entertaining low scroing game in a while IMO.

I absolutely love games like that at small suburban grounds like Leichardt Oval. The atmosphere is always better in these sort of games.
