atm it looks that way, depends on other results though. Mainly whether the Broncos win or not, and also the Manly/Titans game (think we would need to win by plenty, manly loose by plenty, to have a chance though).
 
see told you eels form was overrated they beat no one, i cant believe how people thought the eels were in good form.When you look at the teams who eels beat depleted and out of form teams

i think broncos will be to strong for raiders and as for manly i think were behind them by 84 but id rather play the dogs anway

Overtaking Manly would be too hard. Best we could do is 6th IMO, if the Broncos loose, if not, 7th, and the Eels will finish 8th... Thats IF WE WIN!
 
Both the Bulldogs and Eels, in particular the Dogs have had relatively easy runs into the finals.

The Eels were in must win situations, which made it more to fight for. Tonight they werent, they are safe.

The Bulldogs haven't faced a top 8 side since July, and although the Tigers haven't made the finals, they have been in top form.

Congrats to the Dragons, but I'm still not convinced they will take out the comp.
 
Dogs are shot without Kimmorely. I give them no chance, unless he can some how come back week 2, at the least.

Channel 9 was pretty lame last night, with the scheduling meaning they didn't say a word about the Dragons winning the minor premiership. Tough for Channel 9, wanting ratings for the Bulldogs match as well but I think the Dragons deserved more, no congratulations or coverage of the JJ Giltinan.

I'm not a fan of theirs & hope they don't take out the GF but well done to the Dragons.
 
I reckon St George have to be pretty big favourites now that Kimmorley is out, and now that they've regained their form.
 
Of course they arent going to reveal that the Dragons are minor premiers, i would be pretty ****ed off if they did and i was a Bulldogs supporter who wanted to watch the match.

It's bimin annoying when they have the score of the other Sunday match when they are covering the Sunday game on Nine! Why do they bother doign that?!?!

Yeah, I see exactly where you're coming from. Just seemed strange at the time as we could watch both games live in NZ & the Bulldogs game finished about ten minutes before the Dragons game & the commentators in the Bulldogs match saying that the Dragons were winning.

Do you Bulldogs fans would have noticed how happy the Dragons & their fans were on the coverage? Even Bennett was smiling.

Just thought the Dragons deserved a little more.
 
Yeah what they shouldve done with the two Friday Night matches was offer one on HD and the other on the standard/digital channel.
 
Not a sports channel though, just their regular HD channel, they still have that one, GO! is a completely different frequency. But i do agree with you, it'll never happen.

They are no longer using the HD channel though. But I agree. They could have done it this year...
