2007/2008 Summer of Cricket Discussion

i dont think it matters how good new zealand or india play australia are virtually unbeatable on home soil unless laxmen is in form which he always seems to be against the aussies

For a virtually unbeatable home side, England made mincemeat of them in their last tri-series in Aus.

Btw, I assume you are talking about one dayers. Tests they are unbeatable at home, no virtually about it!

india drew the series last time here
and there side is better then the one in 03-04
and australia side was better in 03-04 then the current side
i think australia will win but it will be hard fought

As an Englishman, I am going to stay well away from any talk about cricket!!!!!

Psshh, who cares about cricket anymore anyway. It's lost all it's mojo for me.

You should be concentrating on the GB league team, they are a team that is going along nicely! You must have enjoyed the test series vs NZ?

Oh yes! It was good to see GB winning a series for a change. Plus most, if not all of the GB players are England qualified.

I've just subscribed to Sky so I can now get both cricket and RL. There's only a small amount on the BBC.

The 2005 Ashes was good but the press started to tell the players how good they were and some of the players started to believe it. Having Michael Vaughan injured didn't help - I think he's a really good skipper and wasn't around to steady the ship.
