Yeah - It almost seems as though Ron was 'showing up' the 'A(oB) Team' too much by his ability and results over back to back seasons, which also seems to have made the front office boys nervous as well due to their perseverance with mediocrity at the coaching and playing level. Could you image...

2 - Laishon Albert-Jones - having a break out season this year and the form forward of the Knights NRLW squad 2 - Olivia Higgins - played an extended stint even when Maynard came on, tackled ferociously and made a few try savers with big effort on effort plays...she is a long minutes player with...

Played some juniors football with Bert at Guildford leagues and even then (10s, 11s and 12s), he was the most naturally gifted footballer I’ve ever seen. I was lucky enough to see his entire career at Parramatta and he was just a level above those he played against, be it at a club, state or...

You mean the club that signed Jason Taumalolo on a 10 year contract :p ?! And to be fair, that isn't intended as a sleight on 'Lolo because I think he still tries to deliver 'near' the best of his ability on the park but his body was never going to sustain the quality of football he could play...

I think my biggest head scratcher with all of this is that the Peter Parr's and Phil Gardiner's of the club are now incentivising him to keep us playing 'Adz-ball' to achieve safe mediocrity for the next 3 years and not incentivising any form of performance criteria on him that sees us...

Thanks Lefty....it is actually nice and special when a reporter acknowledges his flaws but genuinely focusses on the core story about the talent, skill, dedication, drive, passion, unequalled vision and just pure love that he had for our game and then shares their own personal 'time standing...

The interesting thing about all of this will be to see how the players react in their performances over the last 3 games to go 👍 or 👎 for Adz...if he has lost the playing group, their performances should reflect that...or they will go hard to see that he stays? In reality, my concern is what is...

2 - Gagai 1 - Ponga 1 - Frizzell 1 - Elliott 1 - Brailey

2 - Sharpe 1 - Ponga 1 - Elliot 1 - Gagai 1 - Crossland Could easily give another 3 points as well

Just watched the last medal decided…womens gold medal for Basketball - this will be one of those games that will be spoken about for decades! USA won by 1 point, with France shooting the last basket with about 1 second on the clock, needing a 3 pointer to take it to overtime and sinking the...

Yeah Laishon has not been our problem this season…and I should have included her in my ‘performing’ forwards - in fact she has been the biggest improver of last season’s squad for mine👍🏻

Really disappointing effort tonight…apart from Rima, Yasmin and Olivia when she was on, I thought the forwards were pretty ordinary. Lily White needs to learn how to defend positionally as a winger because she is going to get a heap more traffic for the rest of the year down her side of the...

It is actually amazing to see our younger generation represented under this light... Whilst you get to see the drive, determination and sacrifice that it takes to 'compete' at that elite level...it is also clear that the only 'competition going on' is the driving force to see themselves...

3 gold medals in 2 hours…my night is done🥇🥇🥇

Just thought this was worth sharing from last weekend....Laishon Albert-Jones has stepped up to a whole new level this year in attack, defence and fitness for the Knights NRLW team - here's an example 😉 :applause: https://www.newcastleknights.com.au/news/2024/08/03/what-a-hit-from-albert-jones/

Is he less prone to giving away dumb penalties/6 agains at critical times too @Billy??? Then let's get him out there

2 - Hannah Southwell 2 - Yasmin Clydesdale 1 - Tamika Upton 1 - Lilly-Ann White Special mention for Laishon - one of the hits of the season so far!! https://www.newcastleknights.com.au/news/2024/08/03/what-a-hit-from-albert-jones/

Couldn't happen to a 'nicer' team if it comes to pass 😉... I've got to say that the aggression/niggle and dirt the Broncos NRLW squad try to dish out in defence at times is borderline psychotic...

Just been checking the team lists - is there any possibility we can swap the rosters? I know it may not be fair but I do think the men's team will have a fighting chance against the St George NRLW squad.... And I'm sure our Knights NRLW squad will manage just fine against the Tigers 🤔

1 - Crossland 1 - Gamble 1 - DSaf 1 - Frizzell 1 - Marzhew 1 - Brailey
