RLWC 2026

I might be blowing my load to soon per say but judging by the World Cup so far I think we have to go into 2027 like this
11 - Lucas
12 - McEwen
13 - Manu
I don’t want to give any disrespect to Croker since he played great but Manu needs to be in the team he is far to good not to be, Croker can still come off the bench, maybe even have Manu come of the bench in the 13 until he gets used to it in a NRL environment, but i think what I have there is the best 11-13 in the entire comp.

PNG absolutely destroyed. Samoa will be damn hard to beat in the semis.

In the next game, by my calcs England can close the points differential with Samoa if they beat France by 150 points.

The logistics of how to best fit them all in seems to force Holbrooks hand.

Lucas has to come back to his left edge. So either Manu takes McEwens edge spot and McEwen moves to prop or Manu moves to 13 and Croker moves to prop.

I'd imagine Crossland would play 80 with a spell at 13. So its Croker to prop. But we have better props than Crokes. However, we shouldn't underestimate what Croker brings to this team, he is a champion hearted, intelligent and vocal leader.

The other thing is that he's not going to add anything off the bench, if he's not starting at 13 he's probably falling into that Cant 10-15 minute role at best
Its an interesting one because Croker is likely to cop an offer from the Titans or the Tigers etc for twice as much as we'd pay. So he is very likely gone.

Although, given how many minutes Holbrook gives Croker, and the role he seems to have within the team, I wouldn't be surprised if Holbrook saw Croker as indispensable.

Please take in to consideration that Croker was performing against exponentially better nrl sides this year. I love Francis, but let's at least wait til next week and a semi before getting...well, a semi.
True but we do have that to go on for Francis as well granted it was at second row but he did play against NRL sides and still dominated but again that was at second row but I don’t see why he can’t do he usual barnstorming running with the additional passing that he would obviously need to work on if he did get the 13.

I don’t want to say it but I think we the salary cap crunch and what not I think I see Croker going.
