THE GRAND FINAL VS ROOSTERS ❤️💙❤️💙❤️

Likely won't be commenting through the game. So wherever you're watching, I hope you have a fantastic day, and it's a glorious ending to a fairy-tale season for all Knights fans.

It's just great to be going into a grand final again, and yes, we're the underdog as always, but as other grand final favourites have found out, blue and red, never dead.

To quote the late great Doc Neeson..."Okay, this is it, folks, over the top!"

Go Knights!!!

Herald did a quick article on Jaron Purcell going well for Redcliffe in the earlier game. Says he still wants to play NRL.
He was just about our best junior middle - making all the rep sides and playing 15 games of reserve grade as a 20 year old.
I think AOB released him.

I actually thought the younger and bigger Seb Sua had a better game than Jaron. Another prop AOB let go, but he did give him a game of firstgrade.

I remember watching the 97 grand final in Strathfield with family friends and relatives who were mad Manly fans and said the Knights didn't have a chance, we proved them wrong.

I was at a mates house camping for the 2001 gf and remember my mates stepfather and friends going crazy before going out and celebrating for the night. We were never given a chance yet proved everyone wrong yet again.

This grand final noone has given us a chance but I feel a lot more confident about the Knights winning, the way they have been playing, the strength, resilience and determination, I feel we can do anything. We love being the underdogs and will keep punching up.

Tonight and tomorrow the city will go crazy, and everyone will be full of energy and happiness. Our dynasty starts tonight. O'Sullivan's 2 in 5 year prediction may be proven wrong, with a quarter of our cap missing we have proven we can do anything.

Be ready to be impressed and break into tears of adulation and happiness tonight, the feeling is going to be amazing. Up the Knights!

1997 I thought we had absolutely zero chance. 2001 I thought we were absolute certainties and the Eels had been over-rated a fair bit.

This time I feel like it's really 50-50. 😬

Brewery was impossible to get into lol.

Good view at the 30m line, nerves have kicked in

I believe he went to the UK and couldn’t get a game.

I give us a good chance of winning. I really do.

The Roosters haven't taken on a side in the last few weeks bar Penrith that have taken it to them. Sharks and Dolphins both played scared and got exposed defensively.

Where as I don't see us beating ourselves as easily. On paper the Roosters should beat us by 30, but the game isn't won on paper and think the Roosters side while talented are overhyped and have clear mental laspes that the Sharks and Dolphins didn't attack enough.

Can see us targeting both halves and having some luck there scoring points there.

Game will be close but back our form, momentum and crowd being behind us to get the job done.

Knights 1-12
Gagai First try scorer
Sharpe Clive Churchill medallist

Roosters no doubt are going to try and absolutely roll us through the middle early on, if we can hold our own in the early stages and throw some attacking shape at them they will know it's going to be a dogfight.

We need to keep them away from our 20 as much as possible to nullify their kicks to the wingers.
