We're announcing four re-signings today.

So far it's Pat Mata'utia for another two years.

And Zane Tetevano for another two years.

Great news about Pat, having him and Sione staying at the club for years to come should be a priority and it's looking like the club has done exactly that. Tetevano re-signing is also good news although I think he's really going to struggle to make first grade next year but it's still a plus for him to be in reserves.

Hopefully one of the other 2 re-signings is an extension like Mullen or Leilua. It's probably going to be Chanel and Gower or something though.

If Pat gets over his injuries next year I think he will quickly establish himself as the best of our reserve backs. He has the strength and size of Chanel and the skills of Pete, which actually makes him a young Timana Tahu.
He hasn't had much luck with injuries for his time in NYC, but I think Pat and Sione have the class to go all the way.

He was but he extended the deal an extra year into 2015.

Sorry mis-interpreted the post. Thought it said for not from.

Can't help but notice they all re-sign the year Wayne will leave.

Every club does. At the end of 2015 the NRL are going to review the salary cap and determine how much it goes up for the remainder of the TV deal. Most players are going to try and cash in for 2016 and beyond.

Very happy with these re-signings, Not completely sold on Tets yet but I believe he will improve :)

Thanks scoop.

It's been said by myself and others a couple times before and yet there's still people out there thinking it's just because Bennett is off contract at the end of that year..... Not every player is like Boyd

What's your point? Everyone is not on the same page as you so get over yourself? Players have come to the club for Wayne, I have no doubt in my mind that they are waiting to see what happens when he leaves.

If you cant respect people's opinions then don't post.

It may not even be up to the players maybe the club wants to be able to have a clean out at the wishes of the incoming coach,
who knows

Got no doubt a couple might but to think all of them is a bit of a stretch.

I think you should listen to your own advice, you are the one that replied with a sarcastic post first. If you can't take it after dishing then maybe you shouldn't be the one posting.

I can take it when you're a Knights fan. But when you come on here pretending to know everything and taking the p*ss out of people for their opinion, eventually it gets annoying. Hence my sarcasm towards you.

I've never said all, I said the players who have re-signed this year which is half a dozen with the exception of players like Uate, McManus and Rochow who are 'locals' and were already here or coming back. Guys like Leilua, Gagai, Sims, Roberts have only extended until the end of Wayne's tenure. Gagai will be heavily targeted especially if Wayne returns to Brisbane in a coaching directors role. Cowboys will chase Sims again. Boyd is moving back to a QLD based club he's mentioned already.

The rest of the players are over 30 and will retire.

fj182 I take that as a compliment so thank you, someone has to have that tag.
