Will that be Snowden's first FG game this year? Haven't been following him much.
Hope he goes good, he was a good player imo.

Yeh it will be... aparently his been shocking for the sharks and has served suspensions in NSW Cup for the dumbest things. Brawls mainly.

thats a shame

if he gets that out of his game..he could become a really good player

I was a bit disappointed in the knights when they told him to look for another club

I really rate him !

Brown > Prowler

Snowden > Headbutter

Woolnough > Injured

Renoyldson and Tighe and Abraham > Cellar Dwellers

All have gone on to bigger and better things

I actually reckon Reynoldson has been going okay. Better than he ever did for us. Haven't been watching too closely though, and have seen him make some typical errors.

They never needed to sack Brian Smith, with Andrew Johns retiring it gave us more money to buy fitter players, so getting rid of all the players that only looked good around Johns were sacked!!! Now we are defeating teams without star players, I think we will make the 8 this year.

barring something major happening, we should definitely be in the top 8 at the end of Round 26. With a bit of luck, top 4 is a possibility.

I'm keen to be optimistic about this year but this sort of scared me:

Newcastle have won four or their seven games to sit sixth on the NRL ladder.

After seven games last season they were also four and three and occupied seventh spot.

With our new team, it's hard to say how we, if ever, would cope with losing slumps.

we lost 3 in a row if you can count that as a slump lol.

In comparison to last year we are 100x better, the wins we had this time last year were against the bulldogs by a point (who had 12 men), dragons by 4 points (something like 6 or 7 debutants that game), South Sydney by a point. Our only real convincing win was against the sharks by 4 points but it should have be around 16-20. However in saying that our only bad game was against Canberra. We played very well for loosing sides against Melbourne and Brisbane.

We will see how far our team has come just after the origin series, thats when we hit rock bottom (coincidently around contract negotation time). Up until that point we were a chance of scraping into the eight, but it goes to show how quickly a season can change.

Lets just hope they boys keep up their form for the rest of the year.
