Gasnier is one of those players wishing 2009 already come around. He's playing like shyt and you can tell doesnt even want to be there. His defence is average and GK terrible.
 
Yea Gasnier has been MIA in a few matches so far, probably down to the halves not promoting the ball to the centres.

See the problem is Soward hasn't got that great a passing game and Chase tends to take the line on himself, if Gasnier is to excel one of the halves have to pass him the ball with a little bit of room to move.

Disgraceful refereeing in the Cowboys v Eels match.

Half-time scores, Cowboys leading 20-10.
 
The Gold Coast Titans have defeated the Canberra Raiders 32-12 at Skilled Park in a match that saw Michael Weyman sent off for punching an opponent during the second half.

The incident occurred in the 67th minute as Weyman was tackled by Titans interchange forward Daniel Conn. There looked to be a hint of a grapple involved, and Weyman took a swing as soon as he had played the ball – which lead to all players from both sides rushing in to get involved. Weyman was marched straight away by referee Ben Cummins, much to the delight of the parochial home crowd.

The rest of the match was a relatively dour affair. After conceding an early (intercept) try to Raiders winger Colin Best, the Titans quickly established a 10-6 lead with tries to Luke Bailey and Luke O’Dwyer. The second try to O’Dwyer featured what looked like a certain forward pass, yet all the officials missed it and the crowd wasn’t going to let them know!


The Titans continued to dominate with a further two tries in the second half before Weyman was dismissed – the Titans had already established a healthy 14 point lead by this stage, and ran in a further two tries against their 12-man opposition to finish the match with a roar.

The Raiders were very disappointing tonight, a mere shadow of the team that came away with a win over the Dragons last week. The halves combination of Terry Campese and Todd Carney looked lost on many occasions, although the Raiders were their own worst enemy with poor discipline hurting them as well. The Titans didn’t look to be at their best either, but certainly had more than enough ammunition to look after their visitors.

Anyone see it? Did it look bad?
 
Yea it was pretty bad, he should get a lengthy suspension, if I had to compare it to a certain incident I would say it was like the Fa'aologo v Anasta one from last year, except worse because it went on after the initial punch.

King Hit? How many Games did Fa'aologo get? 8?
 
Yea it was a king hit aswell as an all in brawl, the ref took about a year to get the players apart too.

Fa'alogo got 8 weeks, Weyman should get something similar, if not more.
 
The commentators were saying is wasn't that bad, which was strange. They didn't think it should have been a send-off, but it looked pretty clear cut to me. Weyman just got up and started belting Conn for no reason, and you should have seen Conn's face afterwards!

Two months sounds about right for Weyman's suspension, he has no excuse, and he has done this many times before. The guy's a head-case.
