Sharks are the March/April Premiers

Clearly, I hope the Sharks do well! But the Media is a Joke.

CRONULLA have stamped themselves as genuine NRL premiership contenders by completing a grand final double with an upset of reigning premiers Melbourne at Olympic Park.

They are Darkhorses for Top 4 finish though if they all stay fit.

Agree?

Deadset, they need to learn that the season goes for 25 rounds, not 2!!

Both Storm and Manly aren't the same teams they were last year, so even though it might say something, I wouldn't be jumping the gun. Sharks are known to choke throughout the season and drop off.

I do give credit to them, there playing for 6 games away first 6 rounds due to their ground under development. But they are known to drop off on easier sides.

Ricky Stuart is doing wonders though.

No doubt contenders if they stay consistent.

'IF' being the key word. Dont think they'll go the whole way.

Two wins away from home, against the two grand finalists of last year, not sure how you could ask for much more from them.

I didnt find their win against melbourne to convincing TBH. They put their points on in the first 20 mins when melbourne where dead set half asleep. They just kept giving the ball back to the sharks.

Why Covell takes their conversions is beyond me.

Their defence is better then their attack, they will win more games on the back of their defence this year then their attack, why people rate teams on their attack only is beyond me.

I agree with you there, their defense is solid. Once again though i dont think melbourne was up to scratch in defence or attack. You'll see a whole different melbourne next week.

fair dinkum melbourne had enough chances late in the game to win that match...but tried to outsmart the sharks by not going for the f/g....

they needed the one and only scotty dureau :p

not playing a home game for the first 6 round will help, because when their performances drop of in the secong half of the season, they will have plenty of home games in hand and thats always a bonus.

they have gone 41 season without a premiership. I wish it was always 40, then forever they would be known as the 40-year old Virgins.

They are the new North Sydney, but they still aren't even halfway to their record drought hahaha.
